Well a kid on my FL from Belgium has had the game since monday and he has only just go the headshot's so i presummed it wasnt to be achieved just in one game - but who knows.

It's not cheating! no way this is the only thing that i do that may seem unfair across live! - it's fair because there are a lot of people who cheat, fix, kick, disconnect when someone is and play better than them.

That's why i dont play GoW - it's full of the above and the amount of achievements i have missed out as is beyond a joke. Apart from this i will play this game fair.

You havent tried out Lost Planet multiplayer yet then as you cant kill anyone and everyone you do play is japanese or at a very high level already.

Agreed, it is hard to kill people, bullets just dont register when you hit someone.

And headshots are really a no go, I've played around 10 20min matches and only got 4. They are impossible to get.

Have you played them game? No - so what are you talking about then? The game is very slow pased - and it takes ages to kill someone.

I have just played serveral games and none with J - UK yet and we got an achievement but boy was it hard to do it. The maps are really big. There is one called Frozen Wasteland and it is a mile across even more -it is that big. Oh and yes it has snow storms and you carnt see anything infront of you. So if playing a couple of games to get one achievement is wrong when in the game is very very hard than so be it.

And how may times have you fixed a match? I personally dont agree with cheating my gamerscore in mine alone- but having a game with your mate(s) to get some little points is nothing.

CoD3 doesnt allow you to rank up in player matches just like this so playing ranked wether with mates or not is the only way. Personally i would have loved to see it rainbow six style.

I dunno, its up to you. i like having the sense of acheivemnt in getting an acheivement, not just getting them for the sake of it. I did GRAW on hard without cheats, which not many people can say.

yes i am a hypocrite, i dont think i could be bothered to do this sort of "cheating" though. Im not fussed about my gamerscore, it means nothing in total.

I just cant see the point of having someone stand there for you to kill them over and over. Ive seen people doing it on GoW, downing each other over and over, just to get higher in the rankings.

It dissappoints me more than anything, coz i cant look at a gamerscore anymore and go "oh he's good at his games". Now when i see an over 50000 gamerscore i think "he cheated". Shame really. Buy im gonna be really pleased when i get to 10000 pts, not that it matters but it will be an acheivement thats taken about a year to get to.

For a shooting game such as Lost Planet I probably would "cheat" like these two are to get the achievements, only on games which I really like such as Tony Hawk's will I play fair.

At the end of the day I am sure they could get the achievements without pairing up but those two get so many games they just don't have the time to bother lol.

Seriously it has taken me around 1 hour to get 30 points! in an online game(s) What makes me laugh is the fact that most of you are calling me a cheat when you do it someway's yourself - playing ranked matches with friends must class as it as Epic have just done their patch and you carnt invite friends in ranked matches can you? or some games block it out. If i wanted to be a cheat then i would download gamesaves and be great just like the top people in the world - NOT. And it's not just a point a standing there getting killed folks - play the game before you can tell me/others how to play it.

The game is great - just some of the online achievements req alot of dedication and luck. I am lev 19, but have had a few games with the Japanese who i havent seen one below lev 40 yet. They know the layouts, where the best weapons are, the VS's etc etc. Anyone who has played Chromehounds will know what i mean - infact the levels are that size on some! but on foot!!!

And the term is boosting your rank not cheating

Personally I couldn't care less what people do. If someone wants to boost, get points, cheat, fine, go ahead, as long as it doesn't affect me in any way. ;)

Like lenseleven said what they are doing is boosting not cheating. There is a big difference cheating could affect other people ie: if you warp in to walls in a game but can still shoot out but cant be killed yourself thats just wrong(Y) but boosting for achievements with your friends is not hurting anyone at all:D :D :D Boosting 4TW

Ha ha - see TB everyone likes it easy once in a while and buy Lost Planet and see what i mean. I have played with friends and others ie the japanese whom one was level 67! he did 20 kills and 1 death. Why? he knew the levels, where the guns were and was talking with another two who were doing the same - killing others but not themselves!

I thought i would get one of the harder achievements first and it was bloody long in the tooth to do!

Exactly same principle as what your blaming Jastheace UK for, finding a way to get achievements in a way which they shouldn't have been gotten. He shouldn't request someone to stand still and let him kill them and you shouldn't sit back relax whilst the game simulates itself.

Why shouldn't it be dtone like hat, there's a simulate button there for a reason.
Plus I couldn't sit back and watch it simulate right through, you can only simulate one week at a time, and you play about 50 weeks.

You are gaining achievements by not playing the game the way the developer intended you to.

Just because they put the sim function in there doesnt mean they want you to sim the entire thing, it was added for when you dont want to do a match or week or whatever.

I agree boosting isn't cheating, it's merely doing what the achievement requires with Xbox Live mates and surely there's no harm in that.

I personally enjoying boosting for achievements or finding a easier way to get certain achievements as im regular over at http://www.achieve360points.com and its a great community on there which is what xbox live is about if im not mistaken. Plus anyone is welcome to boost or play it fair in their own way. If some people cant hack others boosting or cheating then thats their problem.

Its up to the person on how they play their game. Sure some may play the game slightly different from the next guy/gal and different people have different views on what they class as boosting/cheating. People like attaining the achievements and sometimes they require some help. As long as they enjoy the game then good for them!

Boosting in games is cheating because you know the skill of your freinds if you play with them a lot, i like playing against anyone and if they are miles better than me so be it, but you can only get better at games if you play against better people

thanks again lenseleven for lettin me "cheat" off u. i dont think that u guys get it though, on lost planet, the higher level you are the harder it is for u to die. its very frustrating playin against the japs who are level 50+ and i just wanted some help to at least stand a chance in these crazy online battles.

No probs...this is they only thing i have helped people with as it is very hard to get 10 kills without dying! Why? People who use VSes and those that take your kill then kill you....you see these bugers hiding till last minute!
