Also does your Monitor have Speakers built-in or seperate and what connections are present as this is a problem for some people.

How does it connect to your PC?

What input? Post a Pic if you can as this is the main people have trouble is using the sound on the VGA Cable.

Just make sure you can connect them to your Monitor and Speakers. Otherwise you need little adapters and although it's not hard to get hold of theres nothing worse than taking your 360 homes and having no sound.

My dad bought a TFT with no sound bit and it's been pissing him off, I bought though commander speakers for the 360 expecting them to give him sound and it was a complete and utter waste of £16 FFS.

Now he is talking about getting some jack, dunno what he's planning on doing but hopefully it works because he never stops whinging about not being able to play it when the bairn is sleeping.

For the audio you need something like this:

Just connect the Red and White to the connector, and connect the headphone jack into your Speakers if they have one, it will prob work through your PC aswell.

Little bit wrong there. He doesnt want to put that into his headphone jack but instead in a input jack. My 32" Samsung has 2 stereo phono plugs next to the VGA input anyway and I would assume so would you spreakers. But yeh if all else fails you can get that converter and plug it into any INPUT socket. Not headphone as that would be plugging a input into a output, which wouldnt work :)

yea same iam using a 32" samsung(sound sucks on these) but got my 360 hooked up with component, and my PC with S-VGA and sound through my philips pc speakers. Should really do it the other way around, the speakers are amazing.

I have not even coonnected mine up yet. Here i go: i have a switcher which i want to run and xbox and a PC through a monitor with. That should work. But what im facing now is that i will have no sound. My Computer speakers and sub woofer don't seem to have any inputs for the RCA jacks on my madcatz VGA cable. Can i run the sound through my PC so that both my PC and my xbox will run throguh te=hem or shall i just buy some cheap suround sound speakers.
thx

I'm assuming your speakers use stereo jacks? You can get RCA to stereo converters, and you can get a cheap little RCA switch to avoid having to unplug and replug every time. Posting pictures of your setup and their plugs would make answering a lot easier.
