I tried to use the windows media centre with my xbox but it seems my console is not reconised as a device. I use the ethernet cable to link pc and xbox, but I can't understand why it doesn't work.

okay now I'm having a problem of my own, I downloaded windows media connect I hit run and then nothing happend, so then I saved it the next time I tried and I found th file that I saved on my PC I clicked on it and nothing happend again, help?

Follow the instructions on www.xbox.com/pcsetup very closely.

when it tells me to hit Next and then hit Run,I do that and then nothing happens. Is there anywere els I can manualy download Windows Media Connect?

I have .NET Framework 2.0 beta 2 is what it is or do I need to download something els?

I have Media connect and it works.
and it started by it self.
you just have to try it thru

Forget this I'm just going to burn the music onto a cd and rip them directly to my hardrive.

I think the problem is that I'm not connected directly to my PC, the ethernet cable is connected to a hub so that might be the problem.

it should be no problem.
Take a look on system menu on your 360 can be something there.
