I've been playing it on xbox for a bit...up to blacklist member #5, you should see my car: It's a red Mercedes, but the paint is dual-colour, so depending on which angle you look at it it phases in and out of black. Pretty cool!

The game is a lot of fun, as were both Undergrounds, but I think I will wait for next year's Need For Speed.

It's an allright game...but sometimes its just too easy...you don't even have to upgrade your car as no matter how far into the game you are all the other cars are equally as fast as your car and the whole game is based on your ability in handling and knowing when to brake etc. Which is a bit unusual seeing as the game is called "Need for Speed"...
So i guess you should just save all your money untill the end of the game, then buy the best car and upgrade that...

Recently downloaded the demo of this and im loving it......question for those of you with the full game. The graphics on the demo seem kinda rough. Is the actual game any better? Dont get me wrong, it looks quite good, but this is supposed to be the best looking version. To me it looks just a little Xboxy. Compared to PGR3, which has pin sharp graphics, it comes off quite badly, I think. :unsure:

Then, when your trynig to encourage a chase with them they are so bloody stupid, OMG!!!! I wish I lived there, you can get away with fricking murder, they couldn't give two short *insert word here*'s.

This isn't the Underground series, it's trying to be more inline with the original Need For Speed games, shame they left out being able to play as the police though.

OMG!!!! This game pee'ed me off even more today after I decided to give it another shot.

Needed 1million bounty to challenge blacklist rival 2 - so had a massive police chase - went through a pursuit breaker when i'd had enough and got near enough the amount of bounty needed - so went through a pursuit breaker, and you know how after oyu go through one it takes you a bit further down the road, it did that and when it came back on to me contollring the AI had just sent me through a Spike Strip and there was nothing I colud do.

1million bounty gone down pan, 1 impound strike, and 17 minutes of my life, all just vanished in front of me - bloody annoying. So I switched it off and came on here to vent my frstration, again. :p

You obviously wouldn't know, it gets miles more difficult after Blacklist 5. Especially when your Heat gets up to 5. Knowone can con trol anycar agianst those cars on 5 (Or at least all my mates who have got the game agree)!!!

Plus, crap at the game, meh, Blacklist 2, thought so...

RiLu@ - yeah, I did the pursuit, I just went to that little underground bit (near the stadium), and lost them down there straight away! Loved it. Took me about 10 minutes to get there though, and about 20 attemps. :D

Well my HD will be here in a couple of days....so I'll get cracking on this game too.

I didn't want to play it until my HD arrived as the game says 'HD-compatible' so I'm guessing you get so improvements to load times, smoothness etc. when it detects you have a HD plugged in.

I know know HD is ually Hi Def but if you check NFS:MW on the start screen it flashes up 'EA:HD compatible' and if that's just for Hi Def that's one crappy feature to promote as 360 games must be native 720p to get certification.

Got my hopes up that the game detects a hard drive is connected and offers performance improvements.

This is the first EA game on the 360 to be high def. From now on any EA game will have that at start up. Why? So they can brag about it lol.

You wont notice any improvments really with the hardrive connected. In fact, for games your not going to. Sorry :(

people you have to test this when playing N4S, when you start a bounty pursuit go against the police and don't nothing just drive slowly and let the police drive in front of you then go down to 10 MPH and you'll see the police car just drive in front of you at the same speed doing nothing, this goes for the 2 first on fire levels then it gets HOT!!!

My personal fav is hitting a ramp at 200 mph in my dellago(sp?) and finding a car parked sideways in the middle of the street right in the path of my cars landing. Gotta love blacklist 2. the games not that bad, but i do find they like to cheat a lot to bring you down. cars in the far right lane suddenly crossing all 6 lanes of traffic to turn left, accidents happening right in front of you, and another fav in a race, watching traffic part for the other races and close in on you. but with all that, its still a good game. I do have to admidt, bull was a bit of a pushover though, get through the first race and the next two are a breeze.

Don't just smash the game because you find the games tactics cheap. the game realizes you are better then the other drivers, so it creates hazards for you. If you could be perfect in every race it would not be as much fun. i see it as more of a personal challenge thwarting the evil programmers slaps to the face.

I still give this game top ranks.

Razor was a trip the only real problem i had with him was the drag, it took me three tries. I absolutely LOVE my porche gt. fully equiped that car is a god on the road. this is a good game.

Though i loved the challenge i found flame 6 a true beast to deal with, those black vettes are a tank! it took me about 10 minutes of out driving everything on the road, to find the end of the game, (just so happends i was racing to get to the baseball field to use the pursuit breakers there, my fav way to get rid of cops), when the icon showed up for the escape from the cops. That jump at the end had a real dukes of hazard feel to it after a real fast and the furious plot. I knew mia was a cop from the start. the only thing that ticks me off is that rog is never shown or met in the game.

The games a trip, now i gotta go blow through the last 10% that i have left.

I have actually got into the game, probably because I gave it a proper chance. Its really good. Played it for about 3 hours and about half of that was a police chase. In Blacklist 15 I am 8th. Its really good and quite a little challenge:p

Will still list it on EBAY. I am not going to put it on for 99p and just let it go and get about 20 bids.
Ill put it on about £30 and hopefully it will sell.

Ive got this game coming this week off Ebay. 28 squid. Cant leave the demo alone, I love it. The graphics arent that great, but the chases bring back some great memories of hot persuit. Whatta game! :)

I got this game for £2.50 (I have my ways :D) and it really is the worst driving game I have ever played. The controlling of the cars is horrible, I move the analogue stick in one direction and it takes so long for the console to respond and move the car, then it moves too much causing me to crash too much. Add to this the fact that I am used to the speeds of 160mph+ from Burnout Revenge I find that going at the average speed of 70mph boring and slow, leaving me turning the game off within 10 minutes.

Haha well my brother wanted the game anyway and he payed for Need For Speed and Jak X: Combat Racing while I payed for Ratchet: Gladiator and 007 From Russia With Love.

Also I got the games on PS2 before I had my 360, and therefore was unable to play the demo before purchasing the game. :(

I played the Most Wanted and it's no as good as the first one ( Underground ). I played for couple days and just had to return it, because it was just not worthy enough being inside my Xbox.

I wasn't too keen on it at first..the car handling is complete rubbish....but I gave it a chance and I'm now finding it quite enjoyable.

The game does cheat though, it's well known for this series to cheat since NFSU 1 buit what happened to me the other night was just shocking:

Racing along on a sprint race, in 1st position by a good 5 seconds. On a clear straight a Police car reversed off the side of the road and stopped right in front of me...no 'blue haze' like you get when you're in a pursuit chase. I could do nothing but run into the back of it...no infraction for hitting him! And still no pursuit!

He held me there until the other racers had got in front by about 6/7 seconds then the police car just drove back to the side of the road and sat there.....still no pursuit!

Worst cheating by a game ever!!

Must admit Full Auto seems much better! I dontknow why Full Auto got slagged off so much in reviews (apart from monsters) because its so fun! Achievement wise its great and xbox live play is really greatfun! despite the fact there are people saying how there time spent on track on forza motorsport was 160 hours altogether!

Thing is i played the OXM Demo and it was awesome. I remember i could not stop playing that demo over and over again. But when i rented and played, it just got boring. Maybe because it takes like 5 minutes to get from one place. I didnt like the online play either, it was just plain. Nothing compared to Burnout Live ON Xbox.

Maybe I am but I really do feel this is a dismal effort. I own Need For Speed Underground and Underground 2 and they are both very entertaining, neither have the crap control system which Most Wanted has.

To be honest I can imagine with time this game being good, if I was to grit my teeth and endure a few hours of playing I might come to like it. However I have a busy life, I have so many games I need to play (all my PS2 and Xbox games I get for £2.50 so I have a gigantic collection) and wasting valuable gaming time playing Need For Speed Most Wanted just isn't worth it. (N)
