hd dvd drive for future 360's (BAD AND GOOD)

i have now read in many mags and web sites that microsoft plan to put the toshiba hd dvd drive in future 360's to try and keep up with sony's blu ray drive and help game makers to get more on the disks only problem with game makes doing this for future games what do all the people do who allready own a 360 a the new hd disk games wont work on our consoles LEAVING US WITH A MACHINE THAQT WILL ONLY PLAY CERTAIN 360 TILTES AND NOT THE MAGER NEW ONES.
What do u think to microsofts next money makeing idea we will all have to get a second unit i supose :@

If they put a HD-DVD drive it will only be used for movies. Yoshihiro Maruyama, Chief of Xbox operations said " If the xbox 360 uses a next generation DVD drive, it will only be used for watching movies that run on next-generation DVDs."
