Most popular prorders this christmas according to GAME are:

1. NFS: Carbon
2. FIFA 07
3. WWE Smackdown! VS. RAW 07
4. PES 6
5. Gears of War.

Looks like it's a good christmas for EA again.

i agree, with lost planet hitting a million players on a demo, im sure lost planet would be up there somewhere.

Yeah, but Lost Planet isn't coming out til January over here....

It's not until Jan 12th worldwide (supposivly) - though that could change as the yanks (not taking the mickey out of those on here) - love to get on top of the leaderboards!

I am not supprised to see EA at the top...wifes, girlfriends, boyfriends, grannies, cats and dogs etc buying it for the gamer as it's a safe bet (and that the fact some shop assisstant's on comission with shop/ea)

Yeah, I'm not surprised about EA leading so muhc for the reasons you stated, but Lost PLanet is already out in Japan, no?

Yes Cat it is out in Japan. Sorry i though it was out in the land of the rising sun the same time it came out yesterday 21/12/06. It's out here the same as US and A...12/01/07

Dont think that the list is so surprising considering the marketing muscle that EA have at their control.

Hrmm..Anything EA creeps up the list. Sims, Fifa etc etc. Anything that matches that I don't count as real anyway. According to the stats in our store more people actually pre-ordered Gears than any of the others.

We had loads of people just buying NFS and then bringing it back in a week. Same happened with Fifa 07 when 360 owners found out they had been laughed at by EA, only to come back to swap it for PES6...only for Konami to do the same!

If the chart listed games people wanted and actually kept them for more than a few weeks then I doubt Fifa, NFS etc would ever be on the list.

The list may be pretty accurate when you see that apart from Gears the rest is multiformat. I hate charts from Game since they never really reflect what is good, just what they want to push this time around.
