but i have been in ranked matches earlier today cause i got my doc and ammo supply achievements just wondering why computer ses no now?

Its a well known problem with COD3. There is a patch which is in the final stages of MS accreditation which is said to fix the problem. Its a case of holding tight until then unfortunately.

how long did you wait? you gotta be patient it takes a handful of minutes

I always clear my cache before playing. Then I check the leaderboards, then I go custom match --> War.

And wait, normally takes a couple of minutes.

Once you have played once though, you find games left right and centre easily.
