...it should come as standard

think about it

Ok, but then it would have to be priced a little higher, and not everyone wants play and charge. Some people prefer changing batteries.

Not really, think about it....

You don't have to use rechargeable batteries (MS Style), you can use bog standard ones which quite a few people have got for all the remotes they have and etc.

i think it should have aswell, but that would mean less income for microsoft, and more money spent from them, so i doubt it would realy happen unless a shop bundeled one in with a package

Nah.

It would of just made the initial package more to buy.

I think it's good how it is. If you want one, it's an optional extra for a small fee. Because come on, it isn't exactly expensive.

how can anyone survive without one though? normal batteries dont last very long

True. I used batteries for about 9 months.
Then it dawned how easy the play&charge kits are to use.

same, went 6 months on batteries, and then bought a kit. was only about £7 off the market and it works a treat.

Probably wasnt put as standard to give the illusion of true wireless pads i guess.
They could also have made them miniUSB like the PS3 ones. Then lots more chargers and cables people have could act as a spare charging lead.

I think they should bring out a slimline pad (like the wired one) with a built in battery and a charging cable.

no

i DID forget to mention that it locked up when i was playing on it

Im gonna get a PS3 for the simple fact I LOVE F1 and there will be no F1 game for 360

i dont care about all that fanboy bull crap that everyone seems to care about

If something is good then I will buy it, weather it be by Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo...as long as I get quality gaming I dont care

You're gonna hand over 500 Britsh Sterling for a F1 game?
Wow, thats dedication.

now, im getting mine soon, will be getting the premium package which comes with a wireless pad obviously, in my opinion it SHOULD come with the play and charge kit, but to be honest, im not fussed about paying an extra £12 for a handy piece of kit

doubt Microsoft will start bundling it together until i've got mine though (:/)

Yeh they come in really handy. saves alot of money aswell instead of having to buy batteries all the time.

Well its all about choice and preference at the end of the day. Some of you like using batteries whether they are rechargeable or disposable and some of you like using the plug and play kits (like me :)). You have the option to use what you prefer basically.

I bought the play and charge kit with my 360... Its great. It prevents the nightmare of middle of final level no battery disaster.
HURRAY WERE SAVED!!!:D
