After the announcment that TNA wrestling will no longer be shown on TWC fight, the channel that has been showing it for the last couple of years what do you think will happen to English TNA coverage? Will it still be shown?

Its gonna be on Bravo from the beginning of January I think it is. The Impact shows will be shown 1 week after they are in America and the PPV's will be shown the day after they are in America.

Good news in my opinion cause I didnt have TWC and will now get to see some of it.

They have always shown TNA on Bravo haven't they?

I have been watching it on some Sky channel quite recently, around Bravo.

I like TNA, it's different, and I like watching Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, 2 of my old favourites from the WWE. Shame they won't be back to join D-X.

Yea they show some on Bravo but its really old. Now they are showing the latest shows.

I like what ive seen of TNA which isnt much, and they got Kurt Angle now :)

Also it will be nice to watch an alternative to WWE for a change.

Yipeee! I still get to watch TNA(Y) I think it is good about one week after for Impact and 1 day after for PPV, Isn't that less delay than TWC? Anyhow, I hope the PPVs still stay free, that would suck otherwise IMO. Bravo keep the UFC PPVs free so I don't see why it would be different for TNA.

I think that TNA makes a nice change from WWE, there is less talking and more actuall wrestling, I just wish they would make it a two hour show instead of one, and cut out that anti WWE/DX garbage they have been doing lately. It is kind of sad, seeing two people(road dogg and Billy Gunn) talking down DX when, lets face it, there careers wouldn't be where they are now without it. Oh well:)
Any one else thinks that Angle is overhyped *ducks*, IMO he's wrestling isn't that exiting and his promos aren't great.

Angle has moved to TNA? I thought he had an injury which was keeping him out of ECW. Wow, I am shocked with that.

Although, it'll probably explain why Lashley has moved from WWE to ECW.

All the wrestlers from the glory days of WWE are now in TNA. But after hearing that, I wonder where Kip James and Jessie James (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) will be off now. I'd love a return to WWE.

thePhenom
18/Dec/06, 01:12 PM
Yea Angle moved to TNA about 2 months ago i think was, he didnt like being stuck on ECW and also it is an easier work schedule in TNA, the schedule on WWE has takin a toll on his body. TNA have also given him creative control.

I think Lashley moved to ECW because he fell out with the storyline writers on Smackdown and requested a move to ECW.

The coverage starts on Jan 1st on Bravo.

McMahons lot Vs Takers lot. Those were the days.

Every superstar on both shows. etc

are you talking bout when it used to be The Ministry vs The Corporation?

that was a sweet storyline, then they came up with the Corporate Ministry

Kalou
19/Dec/06, 11:32 AM
Didn't Angle leave WWE because he had to take painkillers to help him through his pain and when he wanted to stop the WWE told him to keep taking them? it was something along those lines because I remember reading it in The Sun a few months ago.

I do indeed mean that.

Wow, it was great.

The start of the legendary Attitude Era.

All the factions were awesome.

Ministry, Corporation, Nation, DX, etc.

Absolute turd now in comparison.

19/Dec/06, 04:48 PM
Nation of Domination or something with Faarooq and Bradshaw?

Wrestling is pants now but when Bradshaw wasn't a queer and you had Stone Cold battling with The Rock it was good, now it's like watching some music crap, just about everytime I turn it on I see someone that looks like a rapper, or what about the guy pretending to be "special" and batters Val lmfao, load of horsekak.

AfroJoe
19/Dec/06, 04:52 PM
Nah, Bradshaw wasn't in the Nation.

It was Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Mark Henry, Godfather, and for a short time the Rock.

Kalou
19/Dec/06, 06:48 PM
I see, so what was the name of the little group Bradshaw and Faarooq had? it was some bent name and they used to have a door with their name on it and have a table etc.

Anyway wrestling is that bad it's more about the ladies now, when I flicked it over when Val Venis got battered off a retard he got two girls who went into the ring and attempted to snog before the retard came down, but I bet all that was planned.

It's amazing WWE has lasted this long, what is so good about it? it's so fake it's embarassing to have even watched it.

The same thing which is good about the likes of Coronation Street, and Eastenders. It's entertaining, Kalou.
The APA, is the name you're looking for. Acolytes Protection Agency. :]

Hopefully if and when TNA gets big enough to give WWE serious competition WWE will get its act togehter

WACCOE
20/Dec/06, 02:15 PM
Yep. That's what WWE needs. Some competiton. It's gone down the pan ever since its closest competition, WCW, was bought out.
No doubt when TNA gets big enough though, McMahon will get scared and buy it out.
Bound to happen.

LiamKenna
20/Dec/06, 02:18 PM
Hope so, There are are few people from TNA I would like to see on WWE. AJ Styles mainly. Do you think TNA wold ever sell up?

WACCOE
20/Dec/06, 03:37 PM
Yes. They'd be just about forced to as McMahon would offer over-the-odds money, like he did for WCW. Leaving the owner morally without a choice.

LiamKenna
20/Dec/06, 03:45 PM
Cool Cool, a bit off topic but any idea how much WWE paif for WCW.
Also if they do get bought out do you think they would do another invasion angle like the did with WCW/ECW vs. WWE? That would be pretty cool I think.

WACCOE
20/Dec/06, 04:27 PM
Yeah. No doubt something like that would happen again.
Give me a second - will go have a browse how much they bought them out for :].

Edit:- "On March 23, 2001, virtually all of WCW's trademarks and archived footage was sold to Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. for $7 million (although the book The Death of WCW claimed it was less than $3 million)."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wcw

I guess WWE never truly bought them out. By reading that it seemed like Time Warner (the owners of WCW) saw the show as a liability, therefore pulled it from TV Networks, and sold everything it had left off for next to nothing.
Very interesting read all of that is, i'd recommend it:]

LiamKenna
20/Dec/06, 09:34 PM
Wow, that really isn't that much money for WWE. Anyway it was a good read:)

WACCOE
21/Dec/06, 12:47 AM
Yep. Small change to McMahon, that is.

LiamKenna
21/Dec/06, 01:25 AM
I think it will end in one of two ways, either Vince will straigt up buy the compnay or TNA will wait a year or two untill they are properly ready to take on WWE in ratings head to head like WCW is, the TNA will have the same fate as WCW. I can't see anyone putting WWE outta business for a good few years yet, they are two powerful, to well established and have to much money for that.

WACCOE
21/Dec/06, 01:27 AM
Yep. TNA are only just starting to get the TV coverage they need - after like what, 4 years now?
Hopefully they can climb to the hieghts of WWE. But if they do it will only be short-lived. :[

Sky Channel 427 is showing TNA now.
Saw Kurt Angle fighting today. He is Champion already now. And he has new entrance music.
And Sting was wrestling. He is well past it.

and did the outlaws leave TNA for WWE? (BG James & Kip James i think )

I don't think so. They were bad-mouthing HHH and Michaels a few months ago which made there return to WWE look unlikely.
However they could well have jumped back over to the WWE.
I seriously hope they have. A storyline involving D-X would be sweet!
Although, they were TNA's biggest stars tbf. Now Jurt Angle has kind of stolen the show, they might be peeved and have left.
I honestly aren't sure. :]

LiamKenna
25/Dec/06, 03:40 AM
I think if they did return to WWE they would need a feud with DX, where the losing tag team has to split up. Then HHH can turn bad again and I will be happy:)
I have heard conformation that TNA Impact will be on Wii and 360 and will more than likely be on PS2 and the other consoles, not sure about PS3 though, wouldn't it be a bit tight with the timing?

Its a Call of Duty 2 Pciture pack from the marketplace, im not sure which exact one, but if you preview them you should find it.

I dont think BG James & Kip James will ever come back to the WWE, also they are under contract at TNA for another 2 years.
