Quite obvious why I made this thread, Im after one myself (Premium Edition) so I figured this thread would be useful for all the people out there who still havn´t managed to get hold of a 360. If you know of any online stores or retailers who receive new stock in the coming weeks (leading up to xmas) plz let us all know here, tar.

I'm so annoyed at stock allocations.

I've been waiting a week now for one from Comet, and they've not had any new stock delivered.

However, yesterday, someone I know just walked into GAME at Braehead and bought a Premium package with another controller and 3 games right on the spot.

I hate you, Microsoft. :(

Does any body know what the situation with currys is i peorderd mine ages ago for garenteed launch day delivery but with a phone call on the second to say i wont recieve till the 10th and now there telling me its be dispatchd on the 10th but can take between 7 to 15 days for delivery ! is it just me or does some thing smell a little fishy at currys

Well i was browsing the argos website and they have Core Sytems in stock dispatching within 2-3 Days so if you want a core get buying before they are gone

OK everyone listen to this.

Dispite what Argos online say, they don't have any in stock.
There website might have a button that allows you to add it to your cart but when you finally pay for it, the website will tell you its out of stock and no payment has been taken.

The button has done now but when it comes back I suggest you try it and then if you manage to order one then post. But I have seen on so many forums people going on about how Argos have them and to get ordering and when I went to order twise today it told me it was out of stock after I entered in my card details.

So I don't want to see any posts about how Argos have them unless you have ordered one yourself. It gets peoples hopes up and then the flames start to come.

currys are about to release there so calld second wave of preimium packs with one game for £355 only available over the phone order service allthoe there may be some odd units floating about in the stores but exspect most of these to got to pre-orders i orderd mine in september from them and all they can say is i should get one any time between the 10th and 17th hopefully but theres no garentee
My fingers are crosd and but cheeks clenchd for the next 7 days .
Good look to everyone out there looking for a 360 u will need it i know i do!

Dixons have stock of the core unit but only if u buy it in a package which includes logitec wired controller 5 games fifa kong pgr3 pdzero and kameo and a 26 inch lcd tv for £1069 for the lot.
Not to bad to say what the prices on ebay a reaching just for a core console.

That's a bad idea tbh...as most games will be region coded...so you'd have to import all your games too!

And I really wouldn't fancy using a mains convertor on the beast of a power supply!

currys have now told me any one with a pre-order will be noteified on monday to say if they will recieve one or not before christmas like amazon and play the pre-order system stinks with 2 people i know who orderd way after me have got theres now and currys still leaving me in the dark untill last min i should of received mine on the second and this is now going way beyond a joke! :@

Well, I phoned Comet again there, and they still can't tell me when they're getting their next stock in. Major suckage.

Unsealed all the boxes today and tried the controller out (without a console, I know :D), and it seems good. The green light around the guide button started spinning around, though, and I couldn't turn it off, so I had to take the batteries out. Don't know how the hell I got the thing on in the first place, or how to put it off once I did. :D

I dont have a wireless so i dont know exactly, but on the wired, holding the guide button in turns the 360 on and off, so maybe it does the controller too?

Yeah, I figured that must have been what happened, but I couldn't turn it off that way, which was surprising.

Meh, I'll find out soon, hopefully.

You need the 360 console to get the turn controller (and console) off option....it pops up on screen when you hold the Guide button.

The big green 'X' in the middle of the controller brings up onscreen options to turn off the console (which also turns off the controller) or just to turn off the controller, to save the battery...like if your in the middle of a game but need to go fer a slash! ;)

I still havent managed to come across one. I was in the hospital when the Xbox 360 was released and I had it on pre-order. I got out of the hospital 2 days after the 360 was released and found out my 360 was sold. Man oh man was I angry, they said i'll be one of the first ones to receive one on their next shipment which should be within the next week.

I want one bad, so I can begin writing about it and creating some articles, although I have written a few previews...

Anyways, I'm hoping to get one soon, and I wish you all the best of luck finding one cause from what I hear its a decent console!

Ive got a core system from gamestation in burnley today and i didnt pre order ive just been asking and asking everywhere. The bloke in gamestation said that gamestations have filled nearly all of there core pre orders so all the ones coming in every couple of days up till xmas will be up for grabs i know its no its not a premium but it plays the games the same im just going to sell it when i can get a premium. anyway good luck to everyone..........

Well forget GameStop there website says orders may not ship until feburary. BestBuy got some shipments today but They are most likely sold out already.

Yeah that sounds about right...hopefully there's going to be heaps of stock come launch day down here in Australia. I'm going get more than enough money from tax-return...but that's in July, I'll probably get my 360 then, hopefully by then most of the soft/hardware bugs and screwups would've been fixed/improved on.

Time will tell...
