H3 Rumor: Playable Brutes

On December 20 a new Halo 3 video will be available on marketplace. It’s a 7 minute video that will be released next week. It highlights the emergence of the Brutes as playable characters in the game. It touches on their skills, origins, and how they are being created. It has about 2 ½ minutes of gameplay footage.

They aren't, Bungie responded to the rumour in the latest update. The good thing is though that the video mentioned will be hitting the marketplace next week, the footage it contains will not be revieled by Bungie, but it's a good chance that the above article is correct. Can't wait.

They are the most boring parts of the game, hopefully H3 will be MC only.

Oh and I highly doubt brutes will be on multiplayer, the elites were giant cows so brutes would be ridiculously easy to snipe. Plus, in all of the screenshots released, none of them show any signs of elites, only spartans (which would be perfect).

Bungie dismissed the rumour of the brutes but the docu is true. Haha its gna be funny when people who wernet around when people used to play halo 2 just see how most of their friends list will just say playing Halo 3... I can almost guarantee it happeneing. And its funny how still some people manage to dismiss it as a rubbish game...fools.

Video definately out tomorrow and takes a look at the brutes and campaign content but apparently the graphics arent anywhere near what the finished ones will look like

watched it, just wets the whistle nicely, no finished graphics, no views of much new stuff. I did spot smoke shells in the shotgun, a kind of "club" weapon, and the targetting is red on all guns now
