Funcom has announced that they will soon begin developing a 360 version of the PC MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. Many will be quick to point out that the game received nods from several publications as the best MMO of E3 2006. Our sister site, Joystiq, reports that Age of Conan begins as a single-player adventure. Upon completion of the single-player portion, it becomes a persistent world MMO. It sounds like a great idea, as users will be acquainted with the game's intricacies when they finally venture online. Also interesting for an MMO, the game features a combo based combat system, which should make the game very accessible on a gamepad.

That's another MMO that's now coming to the 360.

Are consoles suitable for playing MMO's?

Well nobody thought RTS's were any good on the console but LOTR:BFMEII proved that wrong - with C&C3 on the way.

I thought huxley looked great till I saw combat footage. Seems to be the same ol same ol twitcy gameplay. A more traditional MMO will be interesting to see
I never played the FF mmo already available on the consoles but from what I can tell that was pretty shocking :/
Lets not have another one of those

I've been looking at this game now for a few months, should had been out now but FUNCOM decised to wait for the feber around the new of WOW and Neverwinter nights that just came out.

FUNCOM has already a forum running for a few months now.
