Both the Gamerscoreblog and Major Nelson have posted this:

We have received feedback from some customers that they have experienced issues while using the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset, including difficulty syncing the headset to the controller, reception interference and audio sensitivity when playing action-packed games like Gears of War. We are committed to providing the highest quality accessories for Xbox 360 and would like to assist in troubleshooting and resolving those issues, whether by replacing or repairing the units under warranty. We encourage anyone experiencing issues with the Wireless Headset to call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX.
Are there issues with the Wireless headset? Has anyone got one yet?

Yeah, Blaze Lord doesn't come through straight, literally.

He keeps saying: "I'm gay"

Are you sure that's not what you secretely wish he is saying, so you know you'd have chances....?

Nah, Blaze Lord's a dab hand at describing homosexual imagery. You should hear him describing the scene at a homosexual bar: no sordid detail or leather-strap unsaid, Cat. Anyway, Blaze Lord has always left the door open for any relationship: the back-door, actually.

I was about to create a thread on this, just as well I spotted it.

Anyway, I have a Wireless Headset and am so far impressed and haven't had any issues. The only thing that is annoying is you get so used to Plug and Play Charging that when you get your Wireless Headset you start to Panic.

I was playing on Rainbow Six the other night and although I'm not the most talkative (well not one-on-one anyway) my Wireless Mic was Low and kept disconnecting but you can't charge it and use it at the same time.

Which is very aggravating as it takes you off the game for too long, you have to Plug your Wireless Headset into Charge and hopefully you have the Cables and Sockets near by. Then you have to find your Wired Headset and Plug that in....This bit I'm impressed in the ability to switch between Wired and Wireless is great and so far without Hiccups.

However with that said it can't replace your Wired Headset as you especially for long periods of gaming or forgetting to recharge you would be left unheard and it's very frustrating.

Other than the physical design being pretty crappy, apparently there are issues with clarity and syncing.

I haven't had any...I prefer the Wireless Headset design than the Wired one. So I'm quite pleased with it, if they just enable Plug and Play Charging Ability then I'd be alot happier.

However not sure that would happen as I assume there would be some safety issues having a Adapter Cable going so far to your head.

They should've went with Mini-USB it would of looked and fitted in better.

Plus, I could use the same charger for my phone/bluetooth headset, etc.

I've heard that in terms of physical design, the loop gets annoying.

I have a wireless headset. I have had 2 issues with it so far. The first one I had the microphone was crackly and it sounded like I was talking to people in a cupboard (yes I do that regularly ;)) so I took it back to the shop and they swapped it over no questions asked. So when I got home I charged the new one up for a good 4 hours to get it charged pretty reasonably and synced it to the 360 and the pad with no problems. However the missus decides that she doesn't want to use the wireless one and will use the wired one. So I turn on the wireless one and it automatically synchs itself to controller 2 which in way is good. But then even with the wired headset out of controller 1 I could get it to resynch back to controller 1. I have since done it and it was my controllers fault rather than the wireless headset. But these are the only problems I've encountered so far.

I will say this though. The wireless headsets earpiece sounds a lot more clearer when you are listening to it compared to the wired one. However the microphone on the wired one is much better clarity wise than the wireless one my friends and I have found. I like using the wireless headset though and I will continue to do so.
