That's right folks, the XNA games creation software development is now on marketplace. This allows those with talent to make their own games.
There are two types of memberships, one that is for four months priced @ £30 and a full year costs £65.
For those that have the time, patience and ideas this is well worth it.

I might look into this it sounds like a very good idea....I'll doubt I'd be able to create anything special though :'(

A friend online has purchased this and has already knocked up a decent game (so he say's) - he also commented that these games could easily be made and sold to others via mp!
So it seems that the XNA Creative Club is worth it to those

My father used to love designing his own versions of Space Invaders and stuff back in the days of his youth so I'll mention this to him and he may well be willing to part me the cash to buy it. :D
It is a excellent idea btw. (Y)

Anyone else downloaded this? I downloaded the free version for PC had a little look at it, looks complicated lol but im sure il get used to it and learn it over time.
Am I right that you download it for free and you pay the fee if you want to release them on the marketplace?

Its not like a drag and drop game maker (ah the fond memories of RPGMaker 2000 :D ). You need to know C#. Programming knowledge is highly advised I'd say. In the least check out the free version before buying it. THe purchase only means that you can transfer your game to your 360, it doesnt mean that you can make something you previously couldn't with the free version. Some on the gspot forums made the mistake of buying the thing then went on a huge rant telling people not to buy it because it involves learning code.. what did you expect? >_>

Yea I was suspecting this was going to happen, although from what I've heard XNA will make game designing easier however it's still not going to be the average thing someone in there bedroom can do. This is more for your "Bedroom Developers" to get easier access to their ideas and developing for the Xbox 360.
It's a shame say the likes of a member on here can't create a game and share it with anyone no matter if they are apart of a "Creator's Club" or not.
