As you guys know i use the Gamertag Uriel Septim, to all you guys who play Oblivion know who this is, i just got to my 6th yes you heard it right 6TH 360 this morning took my 5th one back to gamesatation to swap it due to freezing they swapped everything from the power supply to a new controller but when i went to turn my new 360 off earlier the console would not turn off it has a very dodgy power button.
So i phoned Xbox support up and told them about all the problems that i have had 1st thing they said, we will give you 2 free games which i have already had so xbox support are going to e-mail MS and i should get a reply within 10 days i hope to get a full refund.
I am going to be getting teh nintendo wii after christmas

Dude come on, 1 is MS fault, 2-3 is bad luck, but dude 6! Six! I'm not accusing you of anything, but when you're on your 6 360, questions have to be raised as to how you're treating/placing/using your 360 that is harming it.

Killer I can vouch for him, he loses the head if he drops a disk. Saw his setup he's tried everything, it's just a case of pure bad luck.
Uriel I hope you get your refund and I get my Wii...I can then kick your ass on that. Lol

Edit: Maybe you shouldn't of picked the name of a man that died on the Xbox 360...Try changing your Gamertag if you believe all that crap. :p

ok dude to getting a brand new one, the one i got today was a brand new xbox 360 in the box from gamestation i am just fed up now with the 360 now

i thought you said they had just swapped afew things for new parts? maybe the power button hasnt bee placed in properly if they have just swapped some stuff about undo it and take a look yourself you might be able to fix it...?

6th man that is unlucky. Mind you i'm on my 4th so im catching up.
My 1st had an identity crisis and forgot it was a 360 so everytime i put in a game it told me to put it in a 360 console.
2nd i got the Red lights and the console wouldnt even go to the dashboard.
3rd my disc tray decided to stop opening.
and now on my 4th ive got a similar problem to Septim that my Off button doesnt always work so that will perhaps go back soon
But i think i will put up with it for now, rather than having to wait on xbox support for 3 hours, then be asked stupid questions about my faulty xbox such as "is your clock set correctly"?

Mine never turns off too well anymore. Sometimes it sounds like it's still running, but will switch off properly after a minute or so.
Other times it will just sound likes it's still running forever, until I switch it on then back off again.
There's no way i'm sending it back for THIS, though. Too minor of a problem imo.

Is your play 'n' charge plugged into it?
That could be why it keeps 'running'.

i think i am going to buy a new battery because the light segment keeps changing on my 360 this happened on my last 2 and it is not the controller as it is brand new with my console and the fact that the battery only has liek 8 hours of power then it neds charging
This is not really a problem but i like things to work how they are suppose to

ye it is worth getting sweet game ace single player multiplyer has some loading problems well for me that is and it has to be the game problem as it has had teh same to problems on the last 2 360 i have had

This could actually be the end of Uriel Septim the profile not my 360 i have created a new profile name "SGT Maximus SGT" trying the games that would freeze quiet a bit on Uriel Septim profile been playing FEAR for 2 hours fine so far had 5 games online would freeze almost every game i had online on my other profile. In a way i hope it is my profile as i care more about a working 360 then some gamerscore.
