View Full Version : Windows Live Messenger Problem
Anyone else having trouble signing into wincdows live messenger?
Everytime I try and sign in it says: Signing into windows live messenger has failed because the service is temporarily unavalible. Please try again later.
Error Code: 81000314
I first got this message about 2 hours ago, so I thought ok i'll leave it. Went out for a couple of hours and it's still not working :s
Oh and i've checked the error code in the help section, just says try again later...

I don't have it installed anymore, but my guess is the error code is exactly right: it isn't anything on your end.

I had a few problems earlier to get on, aye.
I just pressed on 'Help', then on 'Repair'. Normally fixes it for me.

I've been signed in for the past 8 hours (god :|) so dunno what's happening there but when/if you do get in you'll notice you'll have difficulty talking to any contacts as your messages don't reach them. My friend had something about a new SSX game in his screename and I wanted to know more but I couldn't send him my messages. :'(

I add most people now onto my AIM account as it just seems more reliable rather than MSN, it's really annoying but theres not much more I can do than that. MSN just has a rack of problems so it's just luck if I can get onto it or not.
lol. It's like all the people moaning when live was down for 2 days. I couldnt on WLM as well but then it worked. There just making the service better plus its free so I don't complain. Unless everyone moves over to IRC then this is what I will be using. I stopped using Gtalk the other day as it was just Big D and a friend who lives next to me who were ever online.

I have the same problem not enough people use either GTalk or AIM (that are on my FL) and to me half the time MSN is just annoying although. You seem to get a marked increase if you use a Multi-Client, so I don't know if sometimes it's software related.
