This is probably showing my age a little, but I can remember my Dad coming home with a brand spanking new....wait for it....Atari 2600 !

Atari 2600 from Santa. I remember playing it at my grandparents house. Came with a stack of games as well. It's in my loft somewhere. Must have about 25 games. Qbert FTW!

Sega Master System - with Alex Kid installed on the console!

Original sonic was awesome. I even got it out about a year ago, and now my friends has it at her house coz she loves playing sonic and lemmings

Console-wise, SNES.

Had a Game Boy before that, though.

SNES for me. I only really remember playing Kick-Off on it, though.

Was looking on eBay for older gaming consoles earlier today - couldn't believe how much the NES's were. Nearly bought myself a SNES, was sooo tempted.

Think i'm going to opt for a N64, though. Go halfs with my Dad, so he can play Mario, he will love it. :D

Same here, it was great, I remember playing FIFA94 I think on it when one player could control the goalkeeper it was great fun, and Streets of Rage, well it's still one of the best games out imo.

It had some good games but I forgot them all, it was ages ago.

it wasnt fifa 94, it was the original, Fifa International Soccer, Brian Plank for Germany and Muller for Brazil! You could score from the kick off against Qatar

The Atari 2600 (pictured below) was the first console I had owned and I had the majority of those games shown too. The first ever game I played was similar to Pong where you plugged it into the tv and could play a few different games.

Yep there were about 3 different versions as far as I can remember. One with the wood effect, one without the wood but looked very similar and a streamlined plastic looking one like yours. Remember I am old school Tob3z thats why I had the wood one :).

My brother got a Sega Master System 2 when i was very little. But MY first console was the Sony Playstation. Good times with Crash Bandicoot and Point Blank.

No...the only Nintendo product I PERSONALLY ever owned was a Nintendo64 (which i sold to get an xbox 2 years later), and a Gameboy Advance (which I sold 2 MONTHS later due to overwhelming disappointment).
