I updated Wordpress a while back and it seems to have messed my current theme up. I have been messing around with it ever since but I just can't get the results I want.

First I want a white trim/border around the edge of the page but it won't display it in FF only IE. Then I want to change the basic text to white and then I want to get rid of the description in the top left of the header. All of this is in the theme CSS but for some reason it seems to be ignoring it.

Anyone who knows what I am talking about have any idea?

I have not had any problems with my WP Installation, I think you would fair better getting support on the official forums. They will no doubt be able to help you.

Tobez, your best bit are the amzing wordpress forums. They have a seperate one for self hosted blogs: http://wordpress.org/support/

They are pretty good ans should be able to help you with any problem. ;)

EDIT: Make sure that you search the forums before posting. There are way too many people that post without searching for previous threads. Think of it like 20 people a day asking on here about NAT settings.

It's not a problem with wordpress, more of a problem with K2. So I guess I could jump over to the K2 forums. Just wish it didn't take so long to sign up to forums. If it worked like the .net passport system does it would be a lot easier. :(

Cheers anyway guys and gals

Well, chances are that people on the wordpress.org forum experienced a similar problem before. K2 is a widely used (and horrible ;) ) theme.

I wouldn't call K2 a theme. It's more of something which powers a theme.
