Well I picked up a Samsung TV for £799.99 of Play.com, expensive I know, more than I can afford to spend really. :'(

However have I done a good thing?
It looks good and my parents have a 2005 26" Samsung and that's got a superb picture on it, probably the reason I went with them really. It's got 2 HDMI slots which I have absolutely no need for as I only hook up my Xbox 360 and normally watch films and that through that.
Although maybe If I get Sky put in I might have a use for it.
So your verdict? (Probably couldn't give a rats ass)
btw Mant and Russell Money is on it's way,...Glad I affiliate linked it now aren't you. Lol :D

Samsung is the way to go, I hear. I want one, and when I get a job; I'll buy the exact one they use for the 360 Pods at Wal-Mart.

If that's the silver version everyone has I wouldn't. The black ones are newer and have improved firmware and LCD panel.

Yea however much I'd of loved to get a Projector, trust me I would of. As Tob3z says I just simply don't have the room as this is for my Bedroom not my Living Room.
Although my Brother has gone to Australia and my Sister is joining him, and my other Brother is moving out. So me and my other Brothers were discussing creating a little "Entertainment Room" with a Huge TV, I might be able to swing it round to getting a Projector instead as any of there rooms is more than ideal. I suppose I started it, I didn't need to bring up my Family...I have a Large Family and we are all claiming benefits in a 2 bedroom Townhouse Semi that the council covers. No Council Tax, No Electricity Bill and No Gas Bills...and they all work on the Side.
Shhh Don't tell anyone though ;)

Purely came down to space, rather than cost.

What projector have you got? i want to get a HD one next year, or a HDTV. I dunno, i have space for the projector though. Might see how prices pan out.
Glad your enjoying your new purchase Big D (Y) and thanks for using the affiliate link.
Projectors are great apart from when you want to play during the day without having to darken your entire room out, especially during the light evenings in the summer. This is why im looking into getting an HD tele in the very near future. Downsizing from 120" is going to be a heart breaker! but ill keep me proj for movies and the odd nocturnal gaming.
Tis ok Ant! For ONLY £50,000 you can buy a 103" LCD from today!

Nice set, but I like th look of the Philips screens that have the glow around the edges.
Bright green when Hulk comes on :)
SOme amazing colour no doubt when Chief steps out :D
I kinda like the idea of Ambilight but I prefer a black bezel and nothing around the TV. The ambilight (IMO) is just a way to make you think the screen is more brighter and has amazing colour. After all, would you like ambilight in a cinema?
