Take a look here...some fantastic looking mods (aesthetic mods mainly no illegal mods) inc. fix for discs getting scratched.....if you're silly enough to want to move it whilst it's playing.

I was amazed tbh.

Yeah that site does look pretty cool. Finding crazy ways to stop your discs from scratching by using a few hunks of foam rubber lol.

I agree with you Thornbag I wouldn't do any of it. Its nice to see a difference but I wouldn't do it.
I guess it is good that someone else does not mind ripping a 360 to bits so we don't have to.

Nah to hell with all that modding stuff. I seriously dont have the guts to do stuff like that because if you Mess up it wrecks your Machine so theres no real point in it. unless you are an uber good console modder but still even if i was i still wouldnt taint my 360
How long before people start chipping the 360? I bet it takes less than 6 months :)

Are you quite sure?
Maybe he just dropped it and it got chipped
*boomtish* ithankyou ;)
LOL what a load of smelly cheese.
A 360 chipped already. That’s a joke in itself. The whole architecture of the 360 means its going to be while. There are a lot of things which need to be accessed which have now been imbedded in the CPU so it makes it quite difficult for the Linux home boys.

I don't know if I'd even dare to get my 360 chipped (when possible) as it seems so fragile....I take so much care just carrying the console from room to room nevermind butchering it's innards.
Also....should we even talk about such mods here? As most places you can't mention them at all...for obvious legal reasons.
:)
Applying a Linux bios is perfectly legal. Hence why Microsoft gave a bizzilion million pounds to the guy that managed to crack it.
