What get togthers do you want to see?

Going to create a poll. But basically it will be multi choice. What I want to do is get a game for everyday. We will sort out days and times after I found out which games you want to play.

Ooooook. Well it looks like there isn't as many multiplayer games as I thought. So I added some older titles. If I need to change any just give me a shout.

I could of voted for all of them, but I voted for the ones that most appealed to e but as I have or will have most them games I'm willing to play on most of them.

I just, lately, anyway been finding it more enjoyable to play with people "I know" (I use that term loosely) rather than pure random's.

Or at least, not on the same level as you could have one for Vegas, GRAW, PDZ or COD3.

If we make this an official thing, there's going to be a lot of people being disappointed and not able to play if Gears is one of the games.

I can tell you right now, that having 7 games, one on each day of the week, will result in pretty much nothing ever going ahead properly.

Most people don't have a free night every single night, so you need to find the main couple of games people can play, and then the best times for these people.

Yeh but you don't own every game right? You wont be playing everyday. If there is less than 4 people interested in one game then there will be no get together so I will take it off the list. I just don't want 2 games on one night because it could lead to a conflict. Cause chances are the time will be 8pm

That's another thing.

8pm here doesn't equal 8pm everywhere. If we end up with one for every night, we're basically not going to be able to allow everyone who wants to play, to play.

On weeknights, we'd have to move things back to about 11pm to allow Americans to play, yet if we did this, then Europeans would most likely have to miss out due to it getting too late.

I'd say Friday, Saturday and Sunday night are our only real options during school term times. Sunday has to be for the most popular game, as evidenced by how well the PDZ get-together did in that slot. No-one really does anything on Sunday nights. Then maybe the 2nd one 10pm Saturday or something. I know people might miss this due to being out, but it's probably the best alternative to the 8pm Sunday slot.

That's how I'd do it, anyway, as from past experiences, these are generally the two best possible times. And I think 2 get-togethers is sufficient enough. Vegas being one of them, and then probably COD3 as the other. Maybe Gears could be some kind of mid-week alternative, seeing as less people will be able to make mid-week, which wouldn't really matter because less people can get in a Gears game anyway. :D

Traded my copy in today for 12 quid so I wont be able to take part in a PGR3 get together. They were fun back in the day, I remember when we played Cat and Mouse and I just sped off into the distance although I was a Cat because I didn't understand the rules. :D

Oh and I have Call of Duty 3 now so I wanna have a get together for that game.

OK well these are the games which I think would work well for a get together

GoW - There is enough interest for maybe 2 of these. So if we have them different days it allows people to pick a day they like.

CoD3 - I don't own this game but looks like lots of people. I guess 16 is the max you can have in a lobby so you should be able to fit everyone in.

GRAW - Looks like interest has popped up again. I would join but many of you have the download pack and thats something which you use quite often so I will probably sell this game to buy CoD3 or something.

TDU - Not enough really. Great game but not enough was done about promoting it.

RS: Vegas: Yep looks good.

PDZ - Nice! Great to know people want to keep this alive.

Burnout - Humm, we can try it and see how it goes.

PGR3 - Woo looks good. Think we can get this going

SC: DA - LOL, well don't think that will be happening.

BF 2 - 5 people... humm. I don't know how many is a good amount for a get together. I know I look for a good amount of people (20+) on the PC version. Someone who voted will have to tell me if it's worth it.

OK now a couple of people (cba to look at the thread for names :p) said trying to get a get together every day isn't going to work. 8PM isn't the same for around the world. I'm only going by the PDZ get together. 8PM GMT worked fine for Killer so I assume it will work for others. We can't please everyone so we just have to please as many people as we can. 8PM seems like a good time. People have eaten and normally people don't go out till 9 -10ish anyway.

I understand why people think a get together everyday won't work but you don't have to come everyday. It doesn't even look like people own every game in the poll anyway so just because you are not attending it doesn't mean other people wont :)

Here's what I will do. I will create another thread which will be locked (any discussion chuck in this thread). The thread will have a poll in it. The poll will ask if you think a get together every day will work. You simply vote Yes or No. Once that is out of the way we will discuss days any times :)

Well I can only play weekends if you're doing 8PM GMT. I say we just do it 3 times a week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the best days to play (As AJ pointed out). So I say we pick 3 games to play, a later nighter on Friday, so the Americans can play, then followed by a game on Saturday at 8PM GMT, and then the most popular game on Sunday.

So I say

PGR Friday

COD3 Saturday

GoW Sunday

I don't think you should essentially be concenred that you can't get over 20 people going to one get together if it's just a case of 5-8 people playing on a regular basis with each other purely based on the fact they are 360Monster members....Thats got to be a good thing. Right?

Yeh. Just I know I wouldnt play PDZ with just 2 other people. Levels are to big and it wouldnt be fun. I haven't played BF2 for 360 but I would assume this is the same case. But if the people who voted want a specific date etc then I will make a thread.

I don't think it's a case of not going out much TB, as I think it's a great benefit of the Site to know that after coming in after Work or College that you can jump online with other 360M Members and have a couple of games.

Hell you don't have to play from 8pm - 3am, hell just jumping on for a few quick matches or rounds is beneficial to everyone playing, especially in large games like PDZ or BF2.

Yeah, I'd definitely say PGR3 as a proper get-together. Whenever I've played it with people from here, it's been incredible. Dare I say it, even more enjoyable than some of our PDZ get-togethers.
