Very cool, mine'll be on here soon...you'll laugh when you see the bullethole my brother shot in the T.V. screen...I have these see-thru glass doors that the Xbox 360 will be behind and they open up so the noise will be cut down considerably (from the Xbox 360), but it still looks nice because you can see the 360 through it (no, I don't have one yet, but that's what it will be like in the picture), and yeah Surround Sound, nice area, it's pretty good lookin'.

Got it from Aria for only £350. It's fantastic and works really well with the 360. I can easily switch between my Mac and my Xbox 360.

All these setups look really great, I don't even have any console set up, they're all at home. I don't even have a TV :p. Damn I wish I was a few grand better off :p

How do those Dell monitors fair? I was looking at a few of them but the response time seems a bit slow. I don't know what a usable response time for games is like though.

16ms response rate is considered the limit...any higher and you'll get ghosting on fast moving images.

Yeah I have 26" version simply as you can see the 32" would have been too big for my office desk. Plus I needed as much space as possible for when I am working from home.

I am very happy with my setup - nice and cosy room, cool couch to chillout on when gaming and decent shelving to hold my consoles + models that I love to collect.

I've been looking at HDtv prices a lot lately and jesus they are expensive. My problem is that I have 42" RP screen now and I wouldn't settle for anything less than another 42". I do like the samsung models though.

If you don't want LCD you can get some pretty awesome DLP sets at 42" HD ready for about £1200-£1400.

Lol I know that one...took me weeks to talk the missus into me having a 360....but bizarrely only a couple of days to buy a HDTV.

Was probably to do with the fact I have a £2000 PC, Xbox, Gamecube, Dreamcast, N64, Saturn, PS1 and a Mega Drive taking up a room of the house....and that she'll hardly ever see me unless of course she's bringing me some goodies whilst I'm playing.

Yes and no.

Yes...the quality is fantastic as it's true VGA (like the Dreamcast was) rather than the up-convertors you used to get in the past for consoles.

No...as in there's no pass-thru so unless you have dual input (my TFT has DVI and VGA) on your monitor or a VGA switch...you're gonna have to plug & unplug.

I had to take my BONGOS back just in OCTOBER there. Longish story.

Scotland vs Italy 1-1 what a night. But instead of going home it was a holiday weekend so we had a wee break up in STIRLING. Got chased of this shopowners son (I would say 21) against me a 14 year old and my cousin 17. But me and my cousin just sprinted for a while before reaching this park. After wards we didnt really know where or how we were going to get back to the hotel but we had this wall we had to climb if we wanted to get to where we thought we should be going.

As I was jumping over the other side I caught my foot on it(the ancient wall) and fell. Fell to my gruesome death, only jokin but the part of the arm(my right) from the elbow to hand was snapped in half.I had to lie on the ground for two hours waiting for an ambulance staring at my completely twisted deformed arm.And I actually didnt think I would be able to play the 360 ever, due to my temorary disability,(dont laugh;)) but I was fixed up in a couple of days after being under the knife and had to metal plates holdin the bones together(bit like mecanno) but I was a weak as poof so therefore could not play the bongos. But I am fine now youll be glad to know except from two stunnin scar on my arms which attracts attention from the right people;) so took bongos back because the impact when hitting them could further damage my arm.

I am fine now though. Got most of the rotation back so I am quite happy.And I also have the 360 which I thought I would never play so where was I... long story just to tell you how I parted with my bongos.

i broke my left arm when i was 20 playing football, both bones in under-arm(is it the right word?)
I had metal in my arm for 6 months and a month after the accident i had more than a month with fisioterapy every weekday my arm was stuck i couldn't move it at all.
The fisioterapy was more painful than the moment it went in pieces, i thought my arm would never be the same again but after the second operation to remove the metal i could play beach volley without any problem.

well my scar it's about 7" on the inside arm it goes almost all the arm and on the outside part of arm it's a bit smaller. I have two! :|

I have 2 profiles, one mine and the other is my brothers.

I made my LIVE thing when I was on my profile, my gamerscore etc all stayed the same. Then I added 12 months card thing, when I was on my profile.

No its the plasma tuner and connections box - a media PC now theres an idea!!

Pioneer are a top make and I done loads of research as there are quite a few plasmas on the market in that price range. Me happy!!!

unfortunatly for my 360 im on a 16inch normal t.v in a hot stuffy cuboard with my computer aint that bad though its my little room i suppose i live in the cubaord under the stairs more that 8 do in my bedroom. The red and white cables are for audio, and can be used on anything else. You dont NEED them plugged in.

It's connected to the 17" LCD via Microsoft's VGA HD AV cable. It's awesome.

On a few games I get bars on the top and bottom of the screen, but that will go away once I get my 23" Apple Cinema Display :party:

Some of you may ask why I'm using my computer monitor... Why not? You can sit at your computer desk playing PC games forever, what's the difference between a PC game and a console game? It's a LOT cheaper than buying a HD television, and my regular TV was 20" ... Before I managed to drop it, now I have a little 13" TV that I fall asleep squinting at Sports Center with.

This is my "PC Mobile" the thing is on wheels and I can move it around the house, specially into the sleeping room and parked in front of the bed for some late movies.
By this days only beeps and doesn't want to work and i have some power problems too!
But i can still use my PS2 to play the dvds!! :)

Around $2000 the LCD stand around $500 a bit more expensive than i wanted but it was the right size i didn't want to have a big block in the living room as you can see in the first pic.
furniture companies their starting to have a line made to match LCDs size.
I wanted to screw the LCD on the wall, but it wasn't save enough.

If you wan't a half decent one with HD your looking @ about £500 Thorny.

Depends how big your rrom is as well. For recomended viewing the biggest screen in my room should be 32". Anybigger and you move your head.

Plus they don't work well in the light.So Would have to get some very dark cutains.
