I'm thinking of selling King Kong (Still in wrapping, I had to get it, came with bundle), and with the money and some other money should I buy COD2? Is it worth it, or should I save moeny for other games like Gears of War and such?

Dude... I love the Call of Duty series so I don't know how much this will be worth saying... but Call of Duty 2 for the 360 is AMAZING... I love it, the graphics, the gameplay, the, ehm... everything! It's totally worth the money.

By the way, I want to buy King Kong. How much you sellin' it for?

Call Of Duty 2 is a very well made game with minor flaws its well worth the money. Gears Of War however (it looks really good) isn't out until february at the earliest so you could get both if you can save enough money.

You have to add your name in the options, click private messages at top to get menu and its in avatar settings or something:p

Put your Gamertag in the bottom but it does take a few mins for the server to send the information. So don't stress if it is not there straight away. :)

Hope so, PDZ takes a bit longer but it's not all that much longer. I managed to wear out batteries in 2days on wireless controller thats my only gripe :D Too much vibration joy riding the bradley tank :D

I got COD2 through the post today from simplygames and i must say it is VERY GOOD!! The detail is amazing :o I just finished the section where you had to fix the gaps in that wire so not very far :geek:

Can someone give some in-depth info on the Live aspect please?

Basically, I have the game on PC so wasn't gonna bother with the 360 version but I have some cash burning a hole....so is it worth paying the £40-50 just for playing it on Live?

If not, then I'll save the cash for the games coming in Jan/Feb.

It is basic the same as the PC version…..

I would wait till Jan and buy one of the new games that will be out….of course that is if you have to save it… ;)

yes, its very very limited, you logon you choose what type of game you want, it connects you to a server you choose your side and at the end of the match it boots you off the server and you go again.

V.annoying if you have a good game with no lag etc.

Ok...that'll do then, doesn't sound very involving at all. I know Infinity Ward have pee'd off a lot of PC users with their lack of support for PC CoD multiplayer so thought 360 version may be lacking too.

Saving my money for next batch of releases.

yeah, i bought it on friday, i've only played a few online games and its OK, kinda borring and the levels are too big for 8 players! The xbox 360 can handle 32 players! They shoudl've atleast made it 16 players and let u have a server list to see how many players it has and maps. It has a few lag problems aswell.

This was the first game I poped into my 360 man it looks amazing and the smoke effects oh the smoke effects best I have seen in any game to date. this game is intense after each level I had to take a break and my palms were sweating and I don't even have an HD-TV or a surronde system.

veteran is hard as hell i used about 3 to 4 hours to do the second soviet.

and yes veteran is hard as hell, I had to try this checkpoint on the 2nd soviet about 50 times before I got it done, if I dont try to take them out fast they come down to take me kamikazi style!!

I'm almost finished with the soviet campaigne and now its really starting to get difficult, sometimes I don't even last one minute before I get killed. But its very intense I have to take breaks after every check point.

I just completed Caen and the British Campaigne all I need is to finish Hill 400 and Crossing the Rine(which is a short level) and I'm done. So far D-Day was the Hardest lets see how Hill 400 is.

Yeah its hard but not impossible, couple things that might help;
1. always advance never stay on one spot because they will always keep coming.
2.use your grenades you have plenty so use them often
3.Rifle<SMG's exept at close range, just look down the site and shot.
4.use your men, let them sofen up the enemy,this is especialy true when clearing out motor and artiliery crews.
5.use your smoke grenades wisely,only when dealing with tanks and when you come under heavy fire when trying to advance.

The rest you will learn when you play it. If anybody needs help with any of the levels I might be able to help.

Its definatly hard, for the ambush part I just got cover behind the car thats next to the wall and picked off the germans that are on the roof with my rifle, it took me a couple tries but its done. The second russian mission is tough I just helped my brother finish that one just remember toss smoke grenades when trying to put the explosives on the tank makes it much easier. and about that guy that guy who finished it in 3 days, I played alot and I mean ALOT and it still took me almost a week.

No problem, yup you die alot in this game but if you just keep at it you will get through every level and once you get pasted D-Day which is the hardest level imo. then you will cruise through caen and Hill 400 which is blast to play and then crossing the Rhine wich is no walk in the park but its short.

There is a trick to get the german HQ just hide behind the turned over cart throw a smoke granade run across to the bulding on the far left, there will be a couple germans inside kill them and you will get a checkpoint. Your men will now be waiting behind a broken wall at the back of the house you are in, throw a smoke grenade if you have any left and advance to the side of the building, take out the germans that are outside and throw some frags into the window and go inside there shouldnt be many left and your men will follow you inside, The hard part will be to take out the germans up stairs, throw some more frags upstairs but try to aim for the room that is visible don't go upstairs until you have done this. now run upstair and quickly go into one of the rooms that is empty(which you will know wich one through trail and error) the germans will go into that room so be ready once you kill themit be over and you get a checkpoint but if there is one left he is most likely waiting for you next to the stairs so watch out.

This will take you a couple tries but you will complete it.

I agree with whoever said bring out a patch to sort out the lag for online play. Its not a bad online multiplayer but the lag really is untenable on times.

I recently played Call Of Duty on Live and I admit I cheated a bit. The game wasn't ranked or nothing but it made me laugh. I was playing a team deathmatch and everyone got lagged out apart from 3 of us. Unknown to the opposing player I was already engaged in a personal voice chat with my team mate (Fleeboi) who was in spectator mode and he was following my victim with some precision and telling me where by he was and if they could see me. I couldn't help but laugh as the unknowing opponent got an absolute hammering. I wonder if he ever really knew that it was really 2 vs 1! That cheered me up before I went to bed this morning but I hate cheaters

I was playing a good game of 2v2 CTF and I was aiming at enemy and all of a sudden he disapeers and I was like WTF? but then everything just froze and then it said connection lost, oh well.

I've had my connection lost a couple of times its bloody annoying. I played great team deathmatch a few weeks ago with Fleeboi (he'll remember this one) all our entire team (4 of us) were hiding out upstairs in one of the buildings and all we kept on doing was leaving off smoke grenades (it was awesome). You could just about make out the enemies shadow as they tried to get up the stairs. We'd pick them off and then run to another building and slay them again as they approach the old building with smoke around it. That was probably the best online game of COD2 I've played it was total madness! You couldn't see much either so there was a lot of hit and miss shootings.

It takes about 20 mins to get to each check point. I have done a few but the I have a big ring(scratch) around the disc(dont know how) which means I cant do the russian missions. But the tank levels on VETRAN are easy try them and tell us how you got on(Y)

I'd imagine what you have to do is just go and get in the (can't remember what there called, so we'll call them tunnels :p) and walk round going throguh them, adn then you have to get to that big concrete thing i'd imagine.

Yeah they were absolutely fantastic. When you see your fellow soldiers you feel a certain need to DEFEND THEM as if they were your real pals. Am I being sensible here or do I play it too much;)

Are you good with Grenades? because if you are toss as many of them into the room upstairs without even going up there toss as many as you can to get them to come out then be quick and kill them do this until they stop coming out then slowly go up stairs and cleare the rest of them.

Is that the one with barn yard house to the right. If so before you go into the house throw a couple of grenades in the house then approach from the back. And just slowly work your way in the house. It worked for me.

This isn't great because of the problems- this is great because now Call of Duty 2 will actually function with what we want from an online experience. We can now not only wait for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, our Call of Duty 2 disk can finally bring in what we all expected to come out of it. Woot! Go COD 2!
