Wondered if anyone knows if i have my pc in my bedroom with a usb wireless stick and plug my xbox 360 into the pc with ethernet cable will i be able to play xbox live like that?

dont you have to have a ethernet cable going into your modem, cause surely if you just plugged the ethernet cable in it wont know what it is doing :/ im not very good with computers but its just a guees.

So, you dont have a modem, or a router in your bedroom?, and NO, you cannot use xboxlive from connecting to it your pc. it has to be either plugged directly into the modem, or on one of the ports on the router. - If your router is wireless you could always purchase a wireless network card for the xbox360, although i've heard that connectivity is an issue and the signal is always being lost and very slow speeds.

By the way, if your xbox360 is in the same room as your pc, just unplug it from the back of your computer and chuck it into the 360. problem solved. Although the constant switching back and fourth would annoy the hell outta me.
