Hi how do i get this on my computer i have a windows xp service pack 2 so how do i get Windows Media Center ?

lol u daft u need a half decent computer/laptop, plus u cant just get it its an os and if u wanna dload it its illegal

Media Center (Yank Spelling) is a seperate OS to Windows XP SP2 so you need to Buy another OS for your System. I would recommend picking up an OEM copy as they tend to be alot cheaper than Retail OS Products.

You need a half decent computer but nothing to flashy I'm sure Windows has a basic and recommend Specifications list on there Website.

If I was you I'd consider waiting for the Vista release in 2 month's however if you have a crappy PC it may be time to upgrade or buy another one.

Enjoy it's good but nowhere near perfect.

so what dose this all mean? i need to buy it as a cd and upload it onto my computer?

Go into a Store (although you'd have better luck online finding an OEM product) then Pay for it, Go Home and Install it.

one problem u might find with Media Center is that its a picky OS not everything is compatible with it.

if you want to know where to get a copy message me i work from a computer company and we can sell it u :P....lol

Since you can now stream videos with non-Media Center, there's not much point to it anymore.

I have Media Center edition and it runs fantastic for normal Windows XP and as a media center. If you get a legit version!!! you also get a coupon now with most retailers so you can cheaply upgrade to Vista when it is released next year.

Quality, I got it with my PC that I got a couple of months ago.

How much will the upgrade be then?
