I got into Halo2 too late, every match I played I got my ass handed to me fine style. Not noob friendly.

COD2 on the 360 is a different matter :)

I loved the first Halo, that was king! - But the second version i just couldn't get into. and if you ask me it doesn't deserve top spot, i mean.. it's even the most played game on the 360 multiplayer, how pathetic? lol. - Halo3 also doesn't look all too promising, but hey it has another year to progress and mature into a totally wicked cool next-gen title.
