Worried about the effects of GoW

Ive played a lot of GoW today and haved noticed something troubling. A lot of Americans in ranked games (who have had the game a week) seem very highly strung, annoyed with life, stressed out and angry. Has anyone else noticed this?

It may be a coincidence but im worried i may be like this after a weeks hardcore Gears of War sessioning. Will it make me an angrier person, and how long will it be before a nutcase runs round a school with a chainsaw in a strange attempt to re-live past GoW glories?

Played it for the first time this morning (multiplayer) and I am shockingly bad. I only got about 3 kills in 4 matches shocking stuff.

Could anyone get in Steve's Ranked Match rooms? I searched about 10-15 times and didn't see his room once.

Great game online, I struggled for the first couple of rounds...mainly cos the Americans know all the weapon locations and danger areas...so I got left with teh peashooter most rounds or sniped from seemingly nowhere. Soon picked up and started racking up the kills, Hammer of Dawn is a good starting weapon and then grenade tags will get you plenty of kills once you get the hang of commando rolling into a grenade tag.

i prefer the pea shooters to the other weapons, apart from the chainsaw rifle i prefer the brown on that you find lying around

I found it fine. Just set the min and max rounds to 10 and execution.

personally i think thats a load of bull crap, the game aint gonna make you do any of that, if you do, its because you have other problems, games do not make you go out and kill people, regardless of what the media say. The games are just outlets for that stuff, you have to be angry and messed up in the head already.

I agree.....most americans that i have met online are very angry people - maybe because they are 14 and under and act all ''gansta''.

Is this also another game where you can fix a ranked match? Oh no!!!!
