GoW Collecters Edition. My rant

So I got the GoW CE today from Gameplay. Rant time.

It is a tin. I knew this but I thought it was going to contain a DVD case inside. I was wrong.

The tin is slightly deaper than 2 DVD cases. But it's not as high or wide as a DVD case.

Inside you will find a very nice GoW hardback art book. Tells you some some stuff. Nice addition.

The manual. Basic 360 manual.

48 hours live... yey....

The game and bonus dvd... this is where it sucks.

Its a crappy piece of plastic stuck to card. I could of made a better holder with glue and dry pasta. The card is all dented because of whatever fool was packing the tin thought it would be great to just push it in there not being carefull of the sides.

Yes my black tin is scratched up and yes that mark you see is a masive scratch mark and no its not glare from the camera flash.

Yeh this is my games collection. Can you spot GoW?

Basically the game is great (keep game talk to the other threads) but I won't be buying any CE stuff again unless its like Halo 2/PDZ. There cases which I can use.

Harsh I failed mine first time, feeeeeels so wrong paying £40 again :( :D

I've given up on bonus / SE stuff... I never watch the dvd extras and a case looks odd in my collection....MGS2 had it right a metal case with a proper game case inside.

Best £10 spent ever....I almost succumbed to Game's email suggesting I upgrade my standard GoW to the Special ED...but I held out.

Even the plastic sleeve on PDZ gets right on my 'word for breasts rhymes with bits'.

Yep.. I got so off when I opened mine too. I mean, comeon, a piece of cardboard folded in half? How cheap can you get!

And the sleeve is a whole 'nother story.

i hate the frgging sleaves, if i play it everyday, the disk will stay in the drive, if i play it everyother day ill use another case

Teh extra DVD... it's made by 8 year olds. That's all I am going to give away. I dont want to spoil stuff. RBF you will love it. Im having trouble watching it because the girl looks like my sister. I hate my sister. I want to strangle her.....

Yeah.. and this one is horrible. The thing won't stay on worth a damn, it's loose as hell. If you hold it the case will drop out in seconds, I hate it. I don't want to throw it out because it's not complete then though..

They should all be like DR.

I knew this as i saw the contents in GAME a couple of weeks back. My solution, stick it in an old demo case. Hell even print off a GOW cover.

To top it off though, it's not even very limited (like it was supposed to be) - when there's loads in the shops for sale
