Apparently Ubi have advised anyone having issues with playing COD3 (any issues) should switch the 360 off, run the HD cache clear and restart game.

This should fix any problems,

(please be aware this cache clear will require all game patches to be re-applied).

To perform the function, access 'memory' in the system blade, and then highlight the hard drive. Now press: Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X. The following message should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?" Select YES

Apparently quite a few people have done it and the problem where you simply cannot join party and get 'no user sessions available' doesnt happen anymore

but try it and see

old GT expired and i had a different email address to my xbox.com logon and im lazy so made a new GT

had a free 3 monther from a mate and got another free one for once 3 months is over...

dont care about Gamerscore anymore its lost its appeal in my eyes unless they will let you convert gamerpoints into MS points i wont try to get them...

Just had my first ranked match. 20 kills and 10 deaths. Best I have ever done in a match. :D

Yay.

I must say I enjoy playing Ranked more, because it gives you something to aim for. Got a game within 5 minutes aswell. Can't complain.

I was wondering if Activision are gonna release a patch anytime soon? It's just that the best online game so-far is bugged to f***, not only do I have problems finding matches, as you have already stipulated, but the game keeps locking up meaning I have to re-start my console.
This happens in both online and single player!
I do hope they sort it soon,

I haven't had any lock ups in SP and just one in MP...where you get a looping loading screen but can still hear the game being played...it's pretty solid for me.

I guess it will get patched soon though as soem peopel are having quite a few issues.

once you have wiped your cache do all the patches come back automatically once you put your games in like normal??

Yes...it'll give you the update prompt whenever you stick an updateable game back in.
