hiya

just got an xbox 360 today, since the playstations come out only had them consoles but decided to change n get a 360. looks good so far thought controller mite be bit funny gettin used to but it int lol, pity catalogue dint send me my games i ordered they just sent console. looks like a trip to blockbusters later anyway am dave from barnsley 22 nice to meet ya's hope ur all ok.

Enjoy the site. Best bit about the Xbox 360 is Xbox Live. If you have a broadband connection get online using the 1 month free trial period that MS have given you with your new gamertag.

There are lots of excellent games to choose from and most have excellent online modes.

lol cheers for the nice welcome. yer got broadband but i need a router at sounds on it t put ethernet cable in dont i. is that correct am not that good when it comes down to things like that.

well iv ordered fifa 07 and need for speed carbon. wot games would u recommand

also is the silver live membership so u can connect n downloads demos for free or do u pay for the stuff from marketplace. and is the gold membership were u can play games on-line and with friends

never played a on-line game i bet its good 4 games like ghost recon etc

Silver is able to download most things. There are certain items like Themes, Pictures, Map Packs and Arcade games which you will have to pay for with MS points.

Gold Membership lets you play your games online against anyone in the world. You also sometimes get to sample demos etc a while earlier than those with a Silver Account.

I was the same as you, always had Playstations and thought the Xbox360 controller was going to be weird.
But since getting the 360 I don't think I have played the PS2 and now much prefer the 360 controller.
