I believe a small arcade controller is coming out. After all they spoke about a arcade controller back at launch.

I just don't see why they would make another Xbox 360 controller. Why change what isn't broken?

It's obvious that most of the stuff on that list was just to see the customers response. After all A week later after the survey was sent MS announced downloadable movies. So I have a feeling even if most of the feedback was "No I dont want downloadable movies" MS still would of gone ahead with it. Yeh sure other coloured controllers are going to come out. But I dont think they will till another 6 months. How long was it untill MS released the Green Mt Dew xbox in Canada or the Crystal box in the UK?

I really think the grip thing sucks bad though. It's going to be madcatz controllers all over again. :(

yeah, i have a green one for the xbox, would be great to have a differebt colour pad, i get my 2 wireless pads mixed up, and only 1 has the play n charge kit, so i keep wasting batteries

You have changed what you said so I will reply to this as well. Read ALL of my posts VERY carefully. I never ruled out colour controllers.
1up.com is not MS. I believe nothing till I hear it from MS. I'm not going to listen through postcasts without you giving me the time they talk about it. Cause I find 1ups podcasts rather boring. And EGM... again there not MS. So stop pulling out rumours from other sites and back them up with facts. That's all I ask.

I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a new controller with an 'improved' d-pad. That certainly has been a vocalized complaint.

As for grips, well. I dunno. To be honest, I like having those gel-like side grips I bought. My hands are kinda big, and the controller is just a hair too small. The thick cushion of the grips is a welcome improvement. Same with the grips on the thumbsticks.

Crap yeh was meant to put that in. I have a feeling MS are going to be doing something about this wireless thing they have in place because of guitar hero. Yeh I wouldn't want to give up wireless as well. A lighty up controller would be cool as long as you could turn them off because it's only going to effect battery life (obvs not by much). I would really like them to fix the D pad but also I don't know if this is hardware or software but trying to select letters on the keyboard with the thumbstick isnt very responsive.

I imagine MS just tell the GH guys to use a dongle and a different wireless standard. As for the key-entry, the survey also suggests an Xbox-brand minikeyboard.

minikeyboard is great n all but I want the on screen keyboard to handle like it did with the Xbox :(

Also just wanted to add that Llamma took apart the 360 controller they noticed that the D pad has 2 points of.. aghh whats the word I want to use...
Well like the ps2 and MGS2. When using your pistol you can bring it out withoutshooting by gently pressing the button. Pressing it harder will fire it. The D pad has this....

I haven't had much trouble with the onscreen keys. Anywho, you mean analog/variable button? Every other button on the 360 is analog/variable. It's odd that a D-pad would be too, since.. I can't think of a reason why you'd want pressure sensitive response on a d-pad.

It's possible that the pressure sensitive d-pad was deemed.. appropriate for Arcade titles? Still, even if that's the case, they botched it pretty bad.
