King Kong - Xbox 360 - 3/10

It wasn't as bad as I thought. And after playing through it twice it made me realise just how shabby the game was and how buggy it was. Ubisoft should really be ashamed to have there name even related to such a title.

Gun It was exactly as i thought it would be quite fun but still felt like an older game. I would recommend getting it but only now its cheap:D You also have to play through it four times to get all the achievements:s There is not many games that would make me want to play it through three or four times and this is definitely not one of them.
Id give it a 6/10

The Godfather - 6.

Not the best game nor the worst, the camera is very annoying when you move meaning you're constantly having to adjust, the shooting is very good aka the auto-aim where you can aim manually for the head/knee etc.

The map is VERY VERY bland, when I run through the alleys it's like running around a Counter Strike map with terrible textures, the car handling is quite bad like most games these days and the graphics seem current-gen, all in all it's still a fairly enjoyable game.

Single player was fun while it lasted but the multiplayer is just too laggy to be bothered to play. The weapons could have been more interesting too - c'mon 3D realms, where the shrink gun from Duke Nukem?

Tomb Raider : Legend - 8/10

I really enjoyed this having loved the first two on the Playstation, I am glad I only rented it though as it was all over pretty quick.

Great graphics for my first ever game on the 360.

Splintercell double agent 9/10

the single player is great and the multiplayer is amazing, the best of the new game play is scub diving which is very cool as you can pull guys through the ice and stabe thme in the heart or pull a guy in to the water and snap his neck.
the single player kept me busy for about a week i wasnt playing it non stop.

the multiplayer is going to keep me bussy for a long time i think and theirs nothing more satisfiying than snapping a neck in this game the sound brings a smile to my face, infact me and carocat just had a neck snapping compotition on multiplayer to see who could get the most.

HERE WE GO!!!!!

The Elder scrolls IV: Oblivion - 9/10 - Great game, best in series so far. Achievements are nicely spread out.....i haven't finished it yet (hangs head in shame) but only because i am savouring the game, doing all the quests and totally trashing forts and wilderness camps.(Y)

King Kong - 5/10 - Worth of playing - just. I don' fully agree with Big D's scathing review of it, and although the graphics are shabby and last-gen, the gameplay was moderately enjoyable. I gave it a five because of the music and screen effects when u get hurt.......wailing music and disorientation effects do not help when in a sticky situation!!! Achievements easy but oh well...i need 'em!:unsure:

Call of Duty 2: - 9/10 - Another great game...a classic!!! This game brought in the first next-gen WWII game....and did it in style. The achievements awarded for doing levels in Veteran difficulty really motivated you to do it on that setting....I had never played a game on anything over normal difficulty before this. Online mode provides hours upon hours of fun and adds invaluable replay value to the game.(Y)

Fifa 06: Road to the Fifa World Cup: - 3/10 - Alright.....i am (or was) a great fan of the Fifa series. My first footy game was Fifa 2003 for the PS2, on which i spent hours. As the years have passed - along with the Fifa games. My avid enthusiasm for the series has dwindled. I ploughed through the '05 and '06 editions and as the new year rolled in i hadn't got the new Fifa game. This was mainly due to the fact that i was in between consoles. When i got my 360, in late April, my friend sold me This game for £20 - not bad i thought....i thought!!!!! He had sold me a rubbish game that was no where near as good as the old-gen versions and didn't take advantage of the 360's capacities. Sorry Fifa:sport: (N)

Wow this was totally different to what I expected, original and atmospheric, scary but very enjoyable.

I would never have played it unless my rental company hadn't sent it (it was well down my list) but I am so glad I did.

I know, it's an arcade game. I enjoyed it, although it gets redundant after awhile. Also getting all of the achievements was quite annoying. Especailly when I realized one of them was broke. But, it's not bad for an 800MP game.

this games was really good, it's possibly one of the best if not the best game that EA make for consoles, I would suggest that everyone play it at least once :D

Gears of War 7/10 (at present)
Having played this for a few hours now I think it might end up being many peoples game of the year. The reason I am giving it 7/10 at present is that there are a few teething troubles with the control system that are taking time to iron out. My bro has played it far longer than me and says it does take a bit of time to get to grips with the nuances that having everything linked to the context sensitive A button. Once this is ironed out I am sure that I will really enjoy it and score it higher.

Last game played, and still playing... Small Arms 8/10
SSB style of gameplay(although SSB is better). Has some coll characters and weapons, as well as a varied selection of stages. Single player is shortlike 2 - 3 hours max but it is enjoyable and multiplayer rules. Best game on XBLA if you ask me.

Open Season - 8/10

Before you start laughing....hear me out.

With the release of Rainbow Six Vegas, Gears of War and previously Splinter Cell, I assume alot of people like me are getting slightly bored of the Shoot and Cover or generally Shooting games.

This is a great alternative, I suppose in away it fits more into the XBL Arcade category rather than a full Xbox 360 game but it took longer for me to finish this than it took me to finish Gears of War :p

There's nothing better than being a Bear and throwing a Hunter off a Cliff, and hearing him scream on the way down. The makers of this got very imaginative with what they done to keep the game appealing and I'm quite impressed with it. From using Beavers as Submarine Missiles, to launching Cans into Hunters Facers of the top of a Deer.

It's possibly the most imagination game I have seen for a long while and it's defiantly worth playing even if you don't want to know you played pick it up on the DS or PS2. It's defiantly worth renting not buying though, the reason I say this as apart from the Mini Games which you can play with Friends (not on Xbox Live, Split Screen) it has hardly any replay value and for that reason I wouldn't suggest buying it.

Then again buy it and then use Game's 10 day return policy to pick yourself up Rainbow Six Vegas...get back to you Cover and Shoot routine.

Edit: Forgot to mention that slightly annoyed me was the loading screens there not any longer than Gears of War however considering this is completely Single Player I would of expected them to tune this up a bit as it does get slightly off putting.

Then again I can't stand any Loading Screens so I maybe holding I slightly harsh view on them. Enjoy!

Tony Hawk's Project 8

It's a great game, but for people like me who have pnly played a few tony hawk's games here and there, this is a great place to start! its not serious, butits moreenjoyable than that THUG2 trash which was sooo rubbish. The graphics are very nice except there is the occaisonal slow down, and when you earn an Achievement, it feels as if the game will crash. other that that its a grea game and the Nail The Trick is really intuitive and very simplistic, its hard not to just click in the thumb sticks and get creative! Overall, i would give this game an 8.4/10

Gears of War - 8/10

Once you get over the hype and get into the game you start to enjoy it for what it really is, there's not muc hto complain about but as some one was reporting (rival publisher I think) "It doesn't bring anything new to the table".

Although the aspect of Co-Op was a nice touch, the momentary stages where the two people where split up was often frustrating, leaving you in capable of reviving meaning restarts at checkpoints.

The reviving feature was a nice addition but it didn't spread across the board, so although I could revive a Computer AI Character he then wouldn't revive me. You may argue that you'd never die, good point that's why it was disappointing to see that your Enemies wouldn't finish you off either by Chainsaw or Chrubstomping.

Online although slightly different to most Shooters, the huge lacking was with Game Modes there is simply not enough of them.

In all they could of done a better job but never the less it was still a good game and well worth the purchase.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 9 out of 10.

I'll keep this brief. I had never before experienced a Rainbow Six title (yes I've been living in a cave) and I was pleasantly surprised when I played this. The story isn't the most believable but its good enough to get you into what is happening around you. Multiplayer is where its at with quite a few modes on offer. I originally only bought this because a mate who I play with regularly said that loads of the boys were getting it and there would be good multiplayer. It is good but there does need to be some tweaks but these minor fault will be addressed with a patch which is in the works at the moment. The face scanning is a good feature and makes the game somewhat weird playing as yourself but a general good feeling overall. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes shooters.

NCAA 07 9/10

This is the best football game I've ever played. The game speed is realistic along with the hits. My only knock is how if you run an "Option" play you could run it in for a TD 1 ever 3 times. I also don't like how in the Offensive Play Calling screen there isn't any "Trick" plays such as HB Passes, WR Reverses and other. A frustrating point is the players not have names due to Liscensing rights. Overall it's a great game.
