Secret Stalkers?

With the growth of the Internet, there has been several cases and stories of people been stalked by Virtually and in Real Life.

Purely out of curiosity, I'd like to know you anyone has had a "stalker" experience or just some generally dodgy situations online.

I have/had a few actually. I suppose it comes with the whole being a girl/woman on gaming forums. I really don't like it when people try too hard. Like adding me to everything (msn/FL/etc) straightaway. It just takes time imo to find out if people get along before anything else.

Well, let's not get started on the real life stalker I had a while back. ;)

Well I it was a mixture of things really, I remember the dodgy stories on the News and a then a mate of mine was having these problems and to be honest I did't know what to say.

So I thought what a better way than to ask an Online Community and see what there thoughts were and how they combatted the situation.

Also I can imagine the trouble you must face online by over-friendly people, although being German you would of thought that would scare them off a bit :p

I had a 12 yr old girl stalker 'pinsineye', an emo/goth girl who was from also Derbyshire, a few years back...I was on AOL at the time and just got a random message on AOL Messenger one day...chatted a bit and then it was constant messages and emails..with stuff like 'I like Vampires...if we meet up you can bite and suck on my thigh'...yeah..and get put in prison! She also said she'd bought me a ticket to go to a Blink 182 concert with her and her friends if I want to meet up with them! Loads of other stuff that if I'd have sent I'd be classed a a paedo or something.

Needless to say the missus wasn't to chuffed and after a couple weeks sent her a nasty message...the end.

Ive had a real life stalker twice. Stalker one when i had just left school she would come to my work and would wait for me to finish. So this was not going down well with the boss. This went on for a good few months. So what did i do. (a) the sensible thing phone the cops (b) ignore her till she went away (C) call her a nutta and watch her smash thing up and nearly lose my job. It was (c) of course:s :s :s Then there was stalker two now she was not as bad as stalker one but still clinically insane. This was at a place of work and she worked in admin and she would read my file and tell me stuff about me:s keep asking me out. She even sent me a text on my birthday just gone and ive never told her when it was or gave her my number also i havent worked there for three years:s As for online stalkers none yet! Apart from raisedbyflames keeps sending me pics of him covered in peanut butter and pedigree chum;)
