I think that the graphics can be better for a next gen. game it is my opinion that the FIFA-07 are better.
but the animations is perfect, better then of the FIFA07.

the game play that is what counts for me and it plays like never before that is my opinion.

problem with fifa 07 is in the demo the players looked NOTHING like the real players at all, they all have wrinkly faces.

On the game website it says they have it in, and they usually dont have it in til the day before release date.

Me and a pal been rinsing it ALL DAY! And it is sooooooo good!

few questions to seal santana or anyone else with the game,

1: How is shooting? is it hard or can you score some nice long range shots?
2: free kicks much different?
3: are the graphics ANY different from pes5?
4: commentry still crap?
5: is framerate bad?

To answers your questions:-

1) Shootign is a lot more difficult, you will strikers scuff shots a lot more, and volleyes are harder. Long rangers are very difficult to get on target, as it's hard to get a lot of pwer on the ball without whizzing it over the bar.

2) Only difference with free-kicks is that you can do "qucik-free-kicks", which are handy to keep the game flowing, although with the ref been a lot more lenient than PES5 you don't tend to see many free-kicks. Attacking free-kicks seem to be the same as PES5, altohugh im yet to score from one.

3) I can't say about graphics - as I have the PS2 version, but for PS2, they are the same (even though you don't care :p)

4) Commentary is 90% the same as PES5. Few changes, nothing major at all, which is a shame.

5) Framerate will obviously differ from 360 to PS2 so once again I can't say.

graphics arent amazing for 360 but are actually better than what I thought they would have been but I havent tried it yet on a hd tv to see what its really like. Just finished my first game there Celtic 2 - 0 Rangers :cool: Really liking this game, its alot slower than pes 5 but so much better. The AI seems much smarter with your team mates making smarter runs and moves and the Ive found the passing to be brilliant in this version. So much easier to knock the ball around and pass to the players you want to instead of giving it away like what would sometimes happen in previous versions.

Is it better than WE10 for the PS2? and do you get the constant fouls when you breathe on the CPU? one thing I hated about PES5/WE10 was when you hit square the power bar went full, I couldn't believe how many of my shots went over the bar.

Do the players still stand like numpties waiting for the ball to roll to their feet? how is the defensive AI? I read it was crap aka they just stood and done nothing, are the keepers better? keepers on your team not the superhumans in goal for the CPU I am on about.

Do you still get cheated for 85 minutes of every game? do the loose balls always end up at the foot of a CPU player? do you have more than 3 of your own players in their box for a corner? can you win a header with Jan Koller now or will Hossain Kaebi beat him to it? can you outrun Bobo Balde with Drogba or will Balde always beat you to it?

Does the CPU score with every shot or do they actually miss? can you pass the ball more than 4 mph now? do the CPU ever do a bad pass this time or are they all Xabi Alonso's again?

i dont have it but i do know the answer to some of them, the fouls have been toned down 90%! apprently theres no more annoying fouls. And Teamate ai has been majorly improved, they make very interligant runs and react to your every move very nicely.

But im still not sure whether to get it, i would still have enough to buy COD3 and Gears of war but im still deciding, i loved pes5 do u think i should get this?

PES isn't anything incredible, there is nothing about PES that makes me go "OMFG" it's just a decent football game, everyone thinks it's the best thing since Girls Aloud, it's not.

Even the next-gen version is current-gen, the thing with FIFA is, they do too much at once, PES do pretty much nothing.

Ah well I can't wait to get the PS2 version.

True, it isn't anything incredible, but there's a reason that it's got such a huge fanbase who rarely ever stray to another product. And who buy it year-in year-out, despite it being basically the same game year after year.

That reason is that it's as close to football as you can get, and that's what people want.

It might have a lot of flaws, but at the end of the day it's the most realistic football game, bar none. And unless EA Sports completely copy everything in the game, it's always going to be.

It has had flaws for years, next-gen was the thing all the fanboys wanted as they claimed Konami took the PS2 to its limits, and we get the next-gen version and what happens? it's been halved from the current-gen version, it's a farce.

Wooohoo give me average graphics but rip out half the game, yeah well played Konami.

That is the thing, EA copy everything and try too much, look at NHL07, they changed the attacking aspect of the game yet left the current-gen defensive side, this means they only have to focus on so much, whereas with FIFA they change EVERYTHING and unless they have a few years to work with it won't work.

We could've missed the good graphics, the most important thing about a football game is gameplay yet EA think it's the graphics hence why the graphics on FIFA07 are good whereas the gameplay is poor.

Meh, as far as I'm concerned the gameplay flaws are very minor, and don't really affect my enjoyment of the game. Passes get misplaced and players give away dodgy fouls in reality too.

i didnt just want a game that looks good, i wanted one that plays good.
i played the fifa demo and didnt like it much and everyone keeps banging on about PES and how good it is and will be in number 6, so i went with that, yet the gameplay doesnt feel great or better than fifa, and i can understand why you bought it for the ps2, its a waste of money for the 360 version, graphics should not be that bad for this gen, no way.

I don't mind the graphics, PES5 had good graphics imo and besides I like spending hours editing the game, plus it's well easier playing it on the PS2 and cheaper, I wouldn't even buy the 360 version for £20.

There's no advantage to the 360 one I don't reckon. Tbh, I aren't bothered about graphics, but I can see the difference on a PS2 between PES5 and 6. So I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Seriously what a game, forgive my spelling as my fingers are FREEZING but I sent my sister down an hour ago to get it from GAME, well worth the £30.

The gameplay feels much smoother than PES5 and it's more loose, aka losing the ball more often so just like in real life it's more of a midfield battle, hard as hell on regular but I edged out Marseille 2-1 with Inter Milan.

Shots are SOLID, you tap the square and they go miles over, maybe it's all about angles etc, but the game does feel alot better than PES5 and especially FIFA07.

Now I need to set up my PS2 online so I can have a bash, never even played a game online with the PS2 before so hopefully it won't be laggy.

You get league C to edit teams which is amazing, now I can add teams like CSKA, Hibs and Hearts etc, plus you get amazing balls and alot of boots, very good game.
