I thought it was one of the best British films released in ages. I rate it highly.

Great cast and Daniel Craig was excellent in it, you can see why he was picked for the new Bond.

I quite liked Layer Cake....probably would've liked it more but I watched it at work so couldn't give it my full attention.

One Question, Did XXX Die at the end? I know he just gets shot in the Chest but it doesn't show whether he lives or dies, I was wondering if any of you know, like say you read the book etc.

killer there's small rumours that there will be a second layer cake i hope so the film is so good that daniel craig acted amazingly in that film :)

i doubt theres gonna be a sequal, he's gonna be busy making bonds now.
about the ending, fox or whoever, wanted a nice happy ending where he didnt "die"/get shot etc, so they filmed it and said they would put it on, but stuck the shooting one on (Y)

awesome film, had to watch it back to find out his name. I cant find it!

SOOOO much better than the crap the US pumps out week in week out.

Its all a matter of taste though, as with any entertainment industry. Its good thing, otherwise all films, music and games would be the same
