HDD and xbox live

My xbox has recently been in for repair and MS have sent me a new one. I didn't send the HDD as it was not the problem and I thought I'd keep all our saves etc.

Our senario is one XBox Live account and a couple of normal gamer profiles. Trouble is now that when I log on to my account on the box (a normal account) I can only see purchased arcade stuff as trial games, only the xbox live account will see the full version.

I rang support and they advise me to get a silver account on xbox live and they will credit me to download the purchased games again.

All do do with security I guess but whatever it sucks...

I'm surprised they're willing to go through the effort of crediting your other silver accounts for the full version.

I mean.. Honestly? I don't think that sucks at all. I'd be pretty grateful.

I have to phone up about this when I send off my xbox and get it back.

I'm always on live anyway so I will spend the points on something else.

Microsofts very loyal to its customers my mate got 2 wireless controlls when only one of his ed up now ad say thats loyal

I thought if you already paid for them you could still download them again if you like accidently deleted them or something? I'd try downloading them all again to see if they ask you for any ms points.

You can download them again but you need to be signed into Live to play the full game. This is because the download is linked to the console you downloaded it on first.
