Headset Problems... Cannot talk

On games my headset hasnt been working proprely so people said change your nat but i dont know how:( so my nat is on strict how do i change it i have a bt voyager 205 adsl router going to a belkin 5 port ethernet switch , then to my xbox 360 whenever i go on my router it dosnt responed so how do i change my nat settings o btw my computer ip is 192.168.1.3 if this help's .
