Some tragic news. My condolences go out to his family. He was a talented snooker player and will be missed.

Taken from www.bbc.co.uk

Paul Hunter has died at the age of 27 after a battle with cancer. The Leeds player was taken into the Kirkwood Hospice in Huddersfield last Friday and died on Monday evening.
The three-time Masters champion was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005.

I seen it. Cant say I have followed him as a player but he was pretty decent and will be a loss to the game.

Yep, I don't follow snooker, but I know the name, and I think I'm right in assuming he was a very good player.

Man, I was really upset when I saw this on Sky Sports News last night. :(

I know he had cancer for a bit, but it hasn't been mnetioned for a while, so thought he might be OK. Then this news came out of the blue.

He had a young daughter aswell, who isn't even 1 years old yet.

I have always followed Snooker, and Hunter has always been my favourite player, he was like the David beckham of snooker, personality, looks, etc.

It's a bloody shame and my condolences go out to his family.

Don't know snooker well but I watched it every now and then when there's a tournament on TV so I am aware of who Paul Hunter is. Was a right shock for me when I read in newspaper today that he has died. Also he has a little girl only 10 months old. :(
