View Full Version : Getting a Wii? How will you chose what game to get for the 360 or Wii?
Sorry about the title. I'm finding this hard to explain.
Right so this thread is only for people getting a Wii. Any bashing about anything I'm not having as I'm not interested.
Right so you have a 360 and your going to get a Wii. Now some games will be out for both platforms. But of course there are massive differences between the 2 versions.
For the 360 you have great graphics and a amazing multilayer service.
For the Wii you have motion sensitive controllers!!!
So... how am I going to chose what platform to buy the game from?

Okay, well, way to completely ignore what the OP requested.
For almost everything, I think I'm gonna prefer the 360. I might just Wii it for Ninty exclusives, or perhaps some sports games.. Not Madden, though.

I also think if I get the Wii, I will only be playing Nintendo exclusives nothing else. Any multi-platform game will be played on the Xbox 360 for it's amazing graphics and well established Online Multiplayer.
Unless a Multi-Platform game was going to benefit form the Wii Experience, which I don't for the majority of them think they will, I might get it on the Wii

All multiformat stuff on my 360.
There should be enough quality titles from Nintendo themselves to keep me satisfied with my Wii. :D

yeah i think if i were to get a wii, it'd just be for the gimicky games, i wouldnt get any games for it that i could get on the 360.

After a week i was fed up with it and that very reason is what the WII is based around
The Wii has also got a Standard Controller you can use. If the remote doesn't take your fancy.

Yep, Forgot that.
Plus the added benefit of the Wii is the Super Backwards Compatibility (if you can call it that)....

lol...someone's been hitting the Tennants Super!
Threads do have to evolve so you have to expect a bit of deviation from the original post...otherwise threads would die out very quickly and some of teh stuff posted is relevant but doesn't warrant a thread of it's own.
Anyhoo...the only multi-format games on the Wii that will be worth purchasing are ones that can really work the wand...I just don't see that many 3rd party companies making full use of it.
