Ok i think i remember someone asking for a spell checker for 360 Monster. Well if your using Mac OS X then you have this built into your operating system/ browser. You can just right click (if you have a Mighty Mouse, multi button mouse or hold ctrl key and click) in any text area and you will get a drop down menu with some options. One being Spelling options.

Spelling > Spelling
> Check Spelling
> Check Spelling as You Type

I tend to click the 3rd one "Check Spelling as You Type". This will check your spelling ...as you type obviously.:) Plus it stays on. So you don't have to keep turning it on every time you write.

Also if you have OS X 10.4 Then you can select a word with a cursor and right click again for options. This time you get:

> Search in Spotlight
> Search in Google
> Look Up in Dictionary

Mega handy dictionary and google search. Saves copy/pasting words you don't know into dictionary sources, or Googling for stuff.

Hope these tips help any Mac users here (Y)

while in safari, you can highlight a word then press ctrl+apple+D and get the definition for it, or even hold those keys down and move your mouse over different words to get the definition (Y)

another trick i like to use is magnification, goto sys pref's then universal access, then switch magnafication on. Then hold apple+alt with either + or - and it zooms in or out. Very handy for watching vids on youtube, you can make em full screen (Y)

-Command+Ctrl+ Alt+8 = How cool and Useless is that (Y)

- System Preferences ---> Speech----> Speak-able Items Turn On, then say Get My Mail and guess what it gets it. Or Open Safari and it open it.

Obviously this only works if you have a Built-In Microphone or One of your Own.
