The Wii has quite literally blown the PS3 away in a recent poll done by Famitsu

Cash-for-game-reviews sham Famitsu asked Japanese retailers how they thought the next generation of consoles would fare this holiday season.

1. Which next gen console will, in your opinion, sell better during Christmas?
88% - Wii
11% - PS3

2. With all hardware considered, which console do you expect to sell best after Christmas?
60.7% - Nintendo DS
32.8% - Wii
3.3% - PS2
1.6% - PS3
1.6% - Xbox 360

If M$ want to succeed in Japan (personally i dont care) they should makes games with school girls wearing next to nothing, with a smell option to sniff their pants.

The Japanese are a different bunch and most titles that come from their we dont get and vice versa.

To be honest...Japan hasnt given us much over the last year or so (except Dead Rising)...so i would rather M$ concentrate on the States and all PAL regions.

MS will never crack Japan. They are wasting their time trying as well. The Japanese home console gaming market has been in decline over the last few years with more and more japanese gamers preferring to have a portable gaming experience.

Look how successful the DS. I dont expect the Japanese to really like the PS3 either as its going to be too expensive for them as well.
