It might be your only chance to get Halo 2 Achievements points :D

Good thing though about the map creations I think. This may only appeal to hardcore Halo 2 fans though.

Maybe. I've never played Halo: CE or Halo 2 (shock horror!) so I might give it a go at some point. Probably play Halo 3 and work my way back :p

i confused:(
how would you get 360 points for a PC game, and how did he use the 360 controller on the vista version.

It will be a new feature and the 360 pad is a usb connection so I'm sure that there is an option to use the wired pad on there. I think he used the wired pad on the video not 100% though.

You can already use Xbox 360 Wired Controllers for PC Games...
There is also a Device coming out that will enable the use of Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers.
He did use a Wired 360 Controller in the Video

Why get the same game again? Even if it looks better, I've been trying to stop playing the Xbox one for agaes.

Well if you still enjoy game, Why not. It will give you the oppurtunity to experience it with Better Graphics and More Detail also with the added benfit of using mice and keyboard.
On top of that Achivement Hunters will be able to grab themselves more points

My PC can't handle any games and I really don't have the money to upgrade it.
But seriously, I've been playing that game for 2 years. Why on earth would I want to play it again on another console?

I meant that the Achievements will be a new feature. I should have worded it better.

Why by the sounds of it, I'm not trying to persude you...
Just wondering, as alot of people will buy it again for Vista.

Yeah, but that is what I don't get, why buy the SAME game again? You see I've got a friend who owns all current gen consoles and an uber PC. He has several games on more than one platform, yet at the end of the day it's the SAME games, so what has he gained, apart from losing money?
Yeah, Halo2 will be different, but unless it's an entirely different game I don't see why anyone should but it.
(Sorry, just realised I was a bit over the top in my previous post. :))

I may buy it again if they do a better job porting it than they did the first one.
There's loads of new features, a map editor for one, so that alone makes for some incredible new multiplayer variety, achievements will be added, which are perfect for the hardcore Halo 2 gamer and probably a whole bunch of random things.
My computer's getting on a bit now though, but hey, it played on the original xbox just fine, so I'll have to tweak the settings to make them similar if I do get it.
Oh yeah, and I'll have to start practicing with keyboard and mouse otherwise I'd get into an ownage fest.
OMG! I've just thought of something. If Halo 2 as Live Anywhere then if you bring your gamercard from the xbox over to the computer, will it mean you'd also import levels? As you'd have the same stats etc. Wonder if this as been brought up?

Vista will have the ability for you to use your wireless pads as they are releasing the same sort of control for Vista as there is at present for Media Centre.

The benefit of using mouse and keyboard... for me, it takes more skill in using a pad than using a mouse. Yes, yes I know the story that the joypad is originally a replacement for mouse on consoles - nevertheless, I think that using a thumbstick requires higher precision and control, adding a challenge to the game.
As for Halo2 on Vista: I don't know, Vista is coming just a couple of months before Halo3... I see it as a waste of money.

Only if Halo 2 has full-on Live Anywhere capability, in that you can play with people on Xbox1. (And I doubt it.)
id get it if i had / ended up getting vista...
