it will be an a slayer torny(not team slayer) and there will be no player limit. there will be 4 player matches.

Round 1:
group A
group B etc

round 2
Group A winners(1st and 2nd places)will face group b etc
an it will keep going like that untill there are only 4 players left for the final.

there will be no radars and map defult wepons but i want map suggestions!
any1 can sighn up

every man for himself sounds good, but if we have more time then we should do some team slayer depending on numbers and skill just 4 fun. i suggest Lockout, ivory tower, foundation, and sanctuary.

Stick to it being FFA is the best bet, then, even if 1 or 2 people disappear you can still play the game. Otherwise it would turn into the rest of the tournaments that have been created - unfinished.

I'm in definatley, so is Outlaw, Jam Man too probably. I'll ask Shotgun Lil if she wants to enter unless Dcontrol does first.

As for the system, if you get around 18 entries, you could do 3 groups of 6 people, with the top 2 from each group going into the finals.

Sweet, after this tournament's over, lets get a 2v2 one on the go, if both go well, we'll do a 4v4.

And yeah, MLG rules is a must have in FFA, it offers the most balance on all maps unlike sucky Rumble Pit gametypes where you start with a crappy smg.

Settings

1. All Settings listed below are those that are not default for Slayer.
2. Score to Win Round = 50
3. Round Time Limit = 20 Minutes
4. Suicide Penalty = None
5. Starting Weapon = Battle Rifle
6. Weapons on Map = Human
7. Map = Midship

For the map, Midship is the fairest for FFA's but Lockout isn't bad either.

Midship is the standard FFA map, but very much host dependent. Lockout may be better. Do we have anyone that can host an 8 player game anyway? I can just about deal with 6.

we should have a list of definites and possibles, mapwise i say lockout, ascension, sanctuary, and foundation. MLg is good 4 me, i say we just make teams after we play a 1 vs all game and find our seed. then sort players accordingly.

Say 18 ppl show interest. That makes 3x6 FFA. Top 2 of each go through to the final of 6 FFA.

Map Lockout round 1, Midhship round 2, MLG rules?

That way it'll be simple and both of the major maps are played?

Yes, 8 is standard, but you'd need someone with a good connection in each game. As that is not always a given, 6 seems a more sensible option.

Unless there's some sort of system we can use where only 10 people are neccessary, it would make the tournament boring but still, better than nothing.

Maybe 1 group could have a match now, just need to decide who's in what group.
