Faceplates

Are faceplates any good? do you have one? If you do, is it a game or a design/pattern

What do you mean any good? it is just a cosmetic feuture really. I do have a silver faceplate currently and it doesn't look that much different from the original one.

I know what people will be saying one is silver and one is white how can there not be a difference? well the only explanation I can give is the light in my room makes it look similar. They can make your 360 look a bit better though and they aren't too expensive.

I got the Limited Edition Dead Rising Faceplate, looks ace, and the sun faceplate, although i broke my original white when taking it off

i think theyre cool, its a great additional feature to be thrown in, altho ive not got round to getting one myself yet, ill probably go for one of the 3d styles plates when they become available, providint theyre not to expensive :)

Meh £10-15 for a piece of moulded plastic? I don't think so, you also get the problem that the rest of the 360 doesn't match the faceplate.

I would love a black one, but black faceplate with the rest white? looks lame, I liked the fifa one though, I wish play had it :(

I have seen the packs where you can print your own design an stick it on your original faceplate. I don't know if there any good or if I would want to ruin my original faceplate.

I was thinking about spraying my entire xbox so it's black, I don't have the balls though incase it doesn't work, but it wouldn't matter would it? it's just the case, hmm I might try it.

I would until your warranty ends first matey. ;)

Plus take your case off when spraying it. All the spray won't do the interior any good.

Just buy a new blank one and spray it, then if it goes wrong it doesn't really matter.

plus a black case will keep the 360 a hell of a lot hotter (you'd be surprised), so if you dont want to risk it.....

the stickers are really bad, dont get them. either buy a faceplate, buy a whole case, or spray yourown plate / case.

you can get a full case replacement if you want it black, but it will void any warranty

i always wanted a chrome one, which i think would look amazing. but i also like warrenty's, so i'll stick with a faceplate for a game

nope, in the uk you get a standard one year warranty, you dont have to send anything off.
but its gonnabe running out soon anyway :D

It could of been faulty when you bought it. It's up the the company to prove it wasn't. Which is how easy and costs how much money?

So basically the company will give in and give the consumer what it wants. Unless it wants to take it further then all you need to do is pay £40 to start a small claim with the court which can be done online. If the company then doesn't give in and give you a replacement plus your money back for the small claim and any expenses then you wait for the court verdict.

Any company willing to go that far is stupid. As even if it wins or loses it will go on the companies record. Not good when the company wants to do business with someone and they see it.

I want them to put some NFL one's at stores. But, in generall, they just need more. So far, the faceplate thing hasn't been working out due to the lack of any good one's.
