With the release of Wii and PS3 just around the corner, I wondered how many forum member have pre-ordered one or both of the consoles.

If you have pre-ordered, where did you pre-order? How much did you have to put down etc.

Bingo, you should make one that says "intends on preordering.." because I want to preorder a Wii, I just don't think you can around here yet.

I've thought about getting both consoles but I wouldn't preorder them unless I was 100% sure I'd get one.

A Wii that's what i did, just for the back catelogue really though some games may appeal to me ie Mario, Zelda etc.

Am having second thoughts about the Wii as I would much rather have a quality camera for my skateboarding. So I haven't pre-ordered yet, but still might get it for Christmas.

it might be one day. there were 300,000 PSOne's sold last year... but only 1 game came out for it (dora the explorer)

For me it is a toss up between A Wii or a Hi def monitor for the 360, I am thinking about gettin the monitor and waitng until mid 2007 for the Wii, when Super Mario Galaxy and SSBB will be out, as well as the 3rd party developers being able to create online games for the Wii

yeah youll needthe vga cable and itwill be fine make sure you use a 4:3 resolution because it could look a bit odd

nah, its a seperate lead you need to buy, cost you £15-20 depending if you get an official one or not.

i got the monitor off amazon market place, the box had been opened, but that was it, never used :D

You could also try Ebay for the cable, myself and a few others picked them up for £1 as the market is flooded with them at present.

buying my Wii from GAME when I know I will have the money. Then with the points card I should get about £10 off a game if I am lucky.

Thats why I always buy all my consoles from GAME.
