Any games at the moment worth getting?

Thinking about walking down to pc world to see if theres any good games there, anyone got any reccomendations? Ive only got PGR3 and Saints Row at the moment, pgr3 is boring now but saints row is still good. (I wont be able to buy games like dead rising though because they wont sell it to me)

How about Madden 06 or 07?
I had never played a Madden game before until a couple of days ago, I picked up Madden 07 from game and can't stop playing.
I would also agree with RBF about Perfect Dark, Table tennis is worth a try as well.

Then you can buy the games that are rated 18 - normally the better games. Lego Star Wars 2 is very good though

This is about your fourth thread about this, and seriously you never buy a game people suggest so why do you keep waisting our time? buy a game because YOU want it, not because someone tells you to buy it....

How many times do you want it then? it wouldn't matter, if 60 people came and said one game was good would that mean you liked it? download the demo, if you like it buy it, if not download another demo, it makes sense.

wow quake 4 demo was good a lot better than prey, also tried madden and its awful! stops every 5 seconds, 'just cause' had very nice graphics but a little boring after a while, nba 2k7 was great, im considering getting that when it comes out.

Bleck, Quake 4, that is a rent, there is no way to justify buying that game. The single player is worth playing once, and it's not too long. The multiplayer is absolute crap.

I suggest Test Drive Unlimited..

But I have to stand by Kalou on this, you guys need to stop making new threads about what you should buy or what the best game out is, if you REALLY need to have these threads my suggestion is to make ONE thread that is called 'The 'What game should I Get Thread''.

Then you could have people put the two or three games they're interested in on a post, and the rest of the members would just put which one is better. The other reason this would be good is if another person was considering the same games as you, you won't have to post again you can just look at the feedback that they got.

Also if you are going to ask what game you should get, PLEASE give an idea of what you're looking for instead of just saying I want a new game tell me which ones are good. You will get at least 10 different games if you do that. You have to say which you would be interested in, or at least what KIND of game you would like.

It really pisses me off when I come on here and see the two latest posts in 'General' and 'Games' are 'WHICH OF THESE GAMES SHOULD I GET TOMORROW?!?'.

Seriously, Prey is a LOT better than Quake 4. And I mean A LOT!

Prey is one of the best games on the 360 thus far, without doubt.

quake 4 is better than prey but prey has less bugs and errors, quakehas apinfully long load times and sometimes laggs and crashes, but its has a better single player game than prey

There are hardly any decent sports games out, NHL07 looks great and I have already ordered it, NBA06/2K6 were both crap and Madden is crap too.

I played one game, my guy kept moving to the side on his own so I quit and have never played the game since, it is REALLY annoying when you're standing at the center waiting for the return and your guy just skips to the side.

ok kalou, are there any other games other than sports or fps you reccomend getting now, or would it be best to wait untill COD3, GOW, Rainbow six etc all come out? ive got £200 to spend though lol.

If you like Oblivion get that, it's the only game I have played that is worth the full price, even though I got it for £25 and it was the best £25 I have ever spent, you are guaranteed atleast 100 hours of gameplay and that is incredible for a game.

It's hard for me to suggest a game because I am picky, I enjoy playing Tiger Woods even though it's golf and it's VERY, VERY frustrating but 07 comes out next month.

GRAW is a great game on/offline and it only costs £30 which is a bargain, I paid £50 and although I ain't played it for months it's a great game.

Those three games are the only ones I would recommend, Condemned is another good game but it's an 18, Dead Rising seems good too but again it's an 18, I have that coming soon along with NHL07 so hopefully they are good :)

edit: damn its a 15, i am 15 but they will probably still ask for proof. they dont have it in pc world but they have it in currys which is nearer, although i bought GTA from there when i was 12 llol.

ok oblivion is a very good game except for a 2 things, the loading times! it takes me no less than 3-4 minutes to map travel, or ener a house or area, and i got to the bit where you go through the first gate, sat on a bench and there was no way to get up so i had to restart.
