GameStation
who I once thought were much better than game
but after a few small incidents
I still belived that they had a sort of
we like games you like game, so we know what you want. ETC
But Game have just dropped all their games down to £39.99
a reasonable price
that Microsoft are starting to enforce
but still GameStation charge the whopping £50
that I struggled to come up with
for so many of the games
I think if microsoft tag their products to be sold at one price
then it should be sold as that
and before you assume I am wrong
check out any new unreleased game on the official Xbox site , Gears of War for example
The price is put down as £39.99

Why are you upset, as Gamestation are still charging £50 instead of £40....

Vote with your feet and head to Game.

So Game have finally dropped their prices?

I hope so, I'd rather use them than Gamestation simply for the reward points (double reward points on all pre-orders)....oh and the fact that the guy who runs Derby Gamestation is a complete nob..the staff are ok though.

I either buy my games from www.play.com (http://www.play.com) but using the link from monsters front page obviously or Game & Tescos.

Use Sainsbury's to buy games. ALL new ones are £39.97. Godfather, Just Cause and LMA Manager were all on the shelf tonight.

With staff discount aswell, im in for a bargain. (H)

Sweet, good seeing games have dropped though, means I can go in to more shops when Asda's and Tescos have run out.

HMV is £50 too, infact every shop I go into is £50 here so I have to buy online. I have never checked Tesco or ASDA because the bigger stores are miles away and I can't be arsed going there hoping to get a game cheap.

the Game reward card scheme is aweful: buy 10 games, get 50p off

(dont quote me on that, im not sure the figures are correct, itd probaly even worse than that)

I think HMV is something like spend £100 and get £10 off.

I also like my local gamestation. But over the last year I have stopped shopping there. For a few reasons 1. There prices are the same and sometimes more expensive I have found, 2. Trade in's are not better, 3. Staff are not that friendly anymore they make you feel like your in there and there choice of music is not what I would expect to hear when I take my 4 year old son in there on a saturday afternoon.

I think you may have got that wrong. You get 100 points for every £10 you spend and 1000 points gets you £2.50 and if you preoreder a game you get double points.
