Pal-50?

Hey guys, wierd problem I have...

I have an LG LCD TV.. bought it not too long ago (month and a bit). Have premium 360 bundle so HDCables.

I can't run feeding frenzy because it says my TV is PAL-50 and the game only supports PAL-60...

Also I can't change any settings of the TV through the 360 because it says I need HD cables.. but my cables are HD >_>

I dun get it!

You bought a brand new TV a few months ago and it doesn't support pal-60? Are you really sure?

As for the HD problem, theres a little switch on the bit that plugs into the 360, switch that to HD and you should be sorted with that.

also change ur setings on ur xbox to pal 60

Yeah I know, I got so very wierded out... this is the model TV I have (I think this is the one.. it looks the same... mine doesnt have an integrated tuner - I use a set top box - but apart from that it should be the same).

Also I didn't know about that switch on that plug! BUT.. now that I know its there and have looked at it.. its already switched to HDTV ;_;

I assume you have HD Component...

Turn OFF your Console
Flick the The Switch to TV
Turn it Back ON
Goto Display Settings and Change it to PAL-60
Turn OFF your Console
Flick the Switch to HDTV
Then Turn you Console back on

Load the Game/Demo or Video and everything should be fine.

I had a smiliar issuse with the HD VGA Cable!

so does that mean if iv swaped my VGA cable to a scart one and swiched TV to download the halo maps, and i diddent change it baack to pal 60 it wil still be one pal 50?

yeah its even moreannoying if your using a vga cable
as you need to plug the conponet or scart cabel in to switch it to pal 60

I rushed out to buy a lcd tv hoping it would be good for gaming but also for tv programes sky etc,i pluged it all up and it didn't have any HD conection so i tryed it with the scart lead it was a terrible picture to dark, so next i used the AV leads they were a little better this was about a year ago.

I actually thought that all lcd's were hd compatible so didn't even ask the people in the store i just seen a cheap lcd so bought it but i did have liittle clue as some of the tv's had the hd logo on the front and mine didn't but still didn't ask. mean while back at the house i phoned the store up and they said if i wanted the same tv but with HD i would have to pay another 400 quid i didn't have the money as then they were really expensive but now they are dead cheap.
Now i have a 17 inch TFT monitor it will do the job untill i get an HDMI tv next year.

I got told that every LCD is naturally HD so...
