a bit more expensive than first thought at $250 but even so im defo pre-ordering it.

Its not been confirmed for Europe yet :'( but November 19th for US and I doubt the European release will be any longer than a fortnight after the US release.

New York Times has pulled the article off its website.

Seems more likely that the NYT has the correct info, but Nintendo asked them not to publish before tomorrow's event. Makes sense, since a video game console probably doesn't get the media handling that politcal announcements receive.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has put the same article on their site, and did it after the NYT article was pulled down.

UK high street retailer Argos has flipped up a banner on its website, proclaiming, "Nintendo Wii: Launching March 2007". According to eagle-eyed ad-watchers, the banner previously read, "Nintendo Wii: Launching Winter 2006".

the guardian website had a story this morning that the price is likely to be £150 and will be released on the 24th of November.

All will become clear shortly after 12 today though, Nintendo have a conference on today when it will all be confirmed.
