Nintendo Wii dated and priced?

Industry magazine MCV has revealed a possible launch date and price for Nintendo's Wii console.

Despite conferences taking place worldwide next week, where the official date and price is expected to be announced, MCV has been given information from senior sources which reveal that the Wii will launch for £149 and before the date of 24th November 2006.

but the DS is £100 so ninty couldnt go much lower with the price, i think its very reasonable

MCV presumably has been in contact with people in upper management at retail chains, though, and those contacts would presumably be in contact with guys at Nintendo. Still, I think the Europe boss of Nintendo said that this estimate was "close, but definitely not right." This was a couple days ago though, and I'm too lazy to go looking for that article.

It's a brand new console! I'm not gonna sit here an list all the features. All I'm going to say is that it has pretty highly anticipated ones. £150 is a great price when you take into consideration the market and the prices of consoles in years gone by. In Xbox 360 games the whole Nintendo console costs 3 games! So you saying it's dear is stupid. Are you a tramp or something?
